NFL 2015 Season (2 Viewers)

I know it's early...

but Carolina looks good...

clicking on all cylinders...

as Palmer will probably continue to keep airing it out...

Arizona is never out of a game...

Sniff....sniff...love the smell of a free toy soldier in the morning!!!!!!!!^&grin^&grin^&grin^&grin^&grin^&grin had to do it Mike!!:):), as far as the game never saw one play as I was stuck at work all day but exactly how I said it would go down, Manning would do enough to manage the game and let Denver's defense win it in a close one, again the NFL Gods are with Manning right now, he rides off in the sunset with a ring...it's coming, sayith Sammy the Greek!!...Sammy

I am a Manning fan, and it has been tough watching his decline due to age and injury, but it would be fantastic to see the old guy go out with the big one under his belt. I'll be rooting for him in the SB. I'm not a big Denver fan, and I dislike Indy (Manning's first team), so it has been tough sometimes to root for him, but I usually have. My big regret with Manning is that the Colts weren't in Baltimore. -- Al

The Pats seemed pretty gracious in defeat after that game. I don't care for their methods but it was nice to see them being good sports. That game was won by the Denver D. KC never laid a hand on Brady last week but Denver was all over him.

Hole just got deeper for Carson and gang. Now down 17-0. Carolina on fire. -- Al

it's cool with me...

throw humility out the door and be ungracious...

it's just good fun...

Ya know, I had a feeling I should pick the Panthers ^&grin...not over yet,, but Palmer better grab some quick scores or this will be more of a laugher then it already is...Sammy

That Pats /Broncos game was a strange one.....Peyton played well in the first half....The Bronco defense was great all day but Peyton's play and the Denver offense was awful in the 2nd half (3and out..3 and out.. all thru the 2nd half) and almost allowed the Patriots to force an overtime....Had that game gone into overtime the PATS would be going to the Superbowl as the Broncos were fading fast.

Gents,

Yes, I honestly thought Brady was going to get hurt, which I wish on no quarter back. He was taking a pounding and it almost was getting out of control, whereby if I was the Offensive Coach I would have pulled fans out of the stands who I thought would have done a better job of protecting him. Shame on the Patriots offensive line! The Broncos D was phenomenal, but seriously looked like they had it "in" for Brady and Gronkowski and it showed. I am surprised Gronkowski is still walking after the hits he took and it looked like he was out of breath...all the time...high altitude sickness maybe.

From the beginning, I thought the refs were going to steal the show. In other words, they wanted to be the stars of the game and not let the players play. I found ALOT of calls to be questionable on both sides. I freaking hate it when the refs want to take away from the game in all sports. When the refs have to stop and caucus and talk and review and discuss and...you get the picture...they take away from the momentum.

The Broncos will not win the SuperBowl on field goals alone. So, I hope they put Manning in an oxygen healing tank until the Superbowl. Or cryo-freeze him, shoot him full of cortisone and thaw him out before the big game for one last hurrah.

Finally, I have every right to dish it out as there was this "anti-your all washed up kid-coulda been a contenda-its time to hang up your gloves" vibe going on here on this forum about ole Peyton Manning. Who, by the way had a major neck surgery a while back, recovered and continues to play...injured. Brothers, I injured my back recently and can't imagine running around the house let alone playing NFL football. The Colts did him dirty and everybody knows it, but hey he continued to play and picked up a couple of juicy endorsements. He is a tough guy, humble and I respect him for not giving up and giving it one more try to win the big one! Well, he got there with support of his team mates and fans. I think, he has a just a little bit left in the tank for one more game and I think that is it.

So, I'm all about "Winning One for the Gipper" and he has to redeem himself after the horrible Super Bowl XLVIII performance.

PS: Carolina...what a game.

Vezz,

Your so right...

...but it didn't!

PS: Seriously, I saw overtime coming and that was doom.

looks like Newton and Manning...

I'm guessing Carolina will be a prohibitive favorite...

but if any defense can...

Manning's defense could keep Newton on edge...

don't know if it will be enough though...

Carolina is scary when Newton gets them on a roll. Manning will have to manage a good game, and keep Carolina/Newton off the field as much as possible. Denver hasn't the firepower to keep up in a shootout. -- Al

Al...

so true...

they are scary...

Denver can't match them point for point in a shoot out...

now over 500 points scored for the year and have won like 21 of their last 22 games...

they are for real...

I bet Carolina was a huge Vegas underdog to win the Superbowl at the beginning of the season...

look at them now...

I, for one, will be hoping the treachery and guile of the 39 year old veteran can overcome the athleticism and ability of the 26 year old youth. :wink2: -- Al

I'm hoping the Super Bowl is close enough to care about. Carolina looks like they have the whole package. The Denver defense is going to have to do some scoring...because I don't see them shutting down the Panther offense...

For at least the last two weeks, Denver's receivers are not making much separation from their defenders. Manning has been forced to throw the ball consistently into very tight spots. He has been fortunate on the lack of interceptions, but a very hard way to make a living and eventually it will turn bad. Carolina's receivers are getting separation.

No idea if it personnel or inexperience or poor play design, but with both a run game that is off track and now problems with the receivers not getting separation, Denver seems a poor bet. Leaning hard towards Carolina.

The sentimental choice will be Denver because of Manning but Carolina has been on a roll since late last season and manhandled their playoff opponents this year. I don't think this one will be even close.

The NFC has been stronger this year and the thinking has been that either Carolina or Arizona would beat the AFC representative.
