NHL Playoffs (1 Viewer)

As a Chicago Blackhawks fan for 40 +years I have no desire to see the Blues win (or the Redwings) but that kid is classless .
Have some respect for the game of hockey.

I caught that last night too. As a Chicago Blackhawks fan for 40 +years I have no desire to see the Blues win (or the Redwings) but that kid is classless .

Barbashev suspended for game 6, had a hearing today over a head shot on Johansen last night; no penalty, but he gets suspended for a game.

I would rather have had the five minute major last night than the suspension today.

So they lose one of their goons for a night. So what.

That's the second Blues player suspended this series for a head shot, there's still another hearing today for another one of their players who threw a head shot at another Bruin last night, another player who'll get a game suspension vs the penalty he should have gotten last night.

There should be another hearing for the player who pulled the slew foot on the Bruin that resulted in a possible concussion again with no penalty called on the play (and in the refs defense, he was only 10 feet away staring right at the play and did not call it, another ref was at the blueline 15 feet away and did not call it...………………..oh and the color man on the Blues broadcast said "good non call there"...………..does he have a seeing eye dog with him in the booth to help him with the color calls?)

If the result of that play is a concussion, that's three Bruins in five games who ended up with a concussion, this in a league that claims they are sensitive to head injury issues.

What a clownshow the NHL is and they wonder why they are, will and forever will be fourth among majors in popularity in this country.

Handing out penalties after the fact, what a broken toilet of a league.

JUST GET THIS ****SHOW OF A SERIES TO A GAME 7; that's all I ask.

SHOW SOME BALLS BRUINS AND GET IT TO A GAME 7.

They need Tuukka to stand on his head tonight; he needs to steal them a game.

Make it happen Rask.

It's time to sack up or go home.

George you got your wish. You simply cannot win when a goalie plays like he did last night. See you wednesday.

Both of these teams have played better on the road in the finals than at home, not sure why, but regardless, they are both 2-1 on the road, 1-2 at home.

Going into game 7, your goalie has had three poor performances in games 1, 3 and 6, he's bounced back in games 2, 4 and 5, we'll see if he bounces back again.

Also, historically in game 7's, the referees put away their whistles and let the teams play, which favors the Blues.

If the Bruins get another performance from Rask in game 7 like last night and the defense steps up again (McAvoy, Chara and Carlo all had their best games last night) and they forecheck as well as they did last night, I like their chances.

And taking Backes out of the line up and putting that kid in was brilliant last night, he's the fastest skater the Bruins have, he should have been in there for game 5, but they had to dress 7 defensemen in case Chara had issues from his injury.

Game 7's are toss ups, so whatever happens happens, nothing I can do about it other than watch, but the whole "they are at home" means nothing at all to me, home ice again has not favored anyone this series.

When a team is up 3-2 with a home game and thus the crowd behind them, they should finish the job. The Blues didn’t do that and winning game 7 will not be easy. Not impossible but not easy and the Bruins should be rightly favored to win the title.

Somehow I just knew that this was going to a Game 7.

The same way I know that the Warriors will win the next three games against Toronto. ^&grin

With 4-0 lead and a handful of minutes to go, I think I can go out on a limb and congratulate Gary and St. Louis fans on their first Stanley Cup. It’s been a long time coming but worth the wait.

Condolences to George. A massive disappointment to lose game 7 on your home ice.

Crazy and wild Game 7, the Bruins can't put the puck past the Blues Goalie, he is standing on his head! And the fast breaks by the Blues, they have made their shots count. Wow, fun game to watch. Gary, Congrats, long time coming and George, of course sorry as I know they are your team. All in all fun series, I know its not yet over, but with 3 to go and 4 zip, probably is. Anyhow, as a fan, great game.

The Lord can now take me. My bucket list is complete. It really hit me this morning. I have followed the Blues for all 52 years. Going into last nights game I truely believed that there was no way to pull this off. WRONG, one word Binnington.
Gloria!

Congrat's Gary . It definitely has been a long time coming but its always great to have your Sports team win the big one. Now all those old Jerseys you have been collecting should go up in value..;) Take the day off and celebrate. Oh I forgot your retired. Lol

Big time congrats to Gary and all the Blues fans! It is amazing to think that they were last place in January, well out of playoff contention and now they are the champs.

Condolences to George as well. The good news is that the NFL season will start soon which means a Championship for the Boston area is only about 6 months away.

Congrats to Gary. He is a true (blue) hockey fan. Winning the Cup is the probably the most challenging title in any major sport. You not only have to be good at the right time of the season but also healthy and a bit lucky. I was in S. Africa and missed almost the entire series. They are a sports crazed nation with endless soccer, cricket, rugby, and tennis matches (what I call the European sports) but no hockey. I could only find the results on Al Jazeera TV if you can believe that.
