George you got your wish. You simply cannot win when a goalie plays like he did last night. See you wednesday.
Both of these teams have played better on the road in the finals than at home, not sure why, but regardless, they are both 2-1 on the road, 1-2 at home.
Going into game 7, your goalie has had three poor performances in games 1, 3 and 6, he's bounced back in games 2, 4 and 5, we'll see if he bounces back again.
Also, historically in game 7's, the referees put away their whistles and let the teams play, which favors the Blues.
If the Bruins get another performance from Rask in game 7 like last night and the defense steps up again (McAvoy, Chara and Carlo all had their best games last night) and they forecheck as well as they did last night, I like their chances.
And taking Backes out of the line up and putting that kid in was brilliant last night, he's the fastest skater the Bruins have, he should have been in there for game 5, but they had to dress 7 defensemen in case Chara had issues from his injury.
Game 7's are toss ups, so whatever happens happens, nothing I can do about it other than watch, but the whole "they are at home" means nothing at all to me, home ice again has not favored anyone this series.
