Once more for the ages, http://www.cbssports.com/nhl/blog/e...wins-game-5-early-in-ot-with-powerplay-strike
My hockey pool pick's are a shamble.
Once more for the ages.................
Does Putty still root for the Devils?:wink2: -- Al
Thanks, George. I'm not a huge hockey fan, but the Caps are on my radar and I follow enough to know that it will take all their luck to stay in this thing. They just don't fare well in the playoffs. As that famous pundit Roseanne Roseannadana says, "It's always something". -- AlLOL.................yeah he does, but he's a body painter now instead of a face painter.
Good luck tonight Al, the Caps should have won this thing already, take care of business tonight and then flip a coin for game 7...............
Did you know, George, that a player from one of your favorite teams was at Game 5? Justin Tuck.........Apparently he's a big hockey fan.
Rangers Devil split 6 games so I don't think there is an advantage either way. However, it's likely to be a seven game series that should be a lot of fun to watch.
Did you know, George, that a player from one of your favorite teams was at Game 5 the other night? Justin Tuck was seated behind the Rangers goal wearing a jersey. Apparently he's a big hockey fan.
Woo Hoo! Caps get a game 7! -- Al

Yes, the Caps have played it close this playoff season. They have played 13 times and 12 of the contests have been decided by 1 goal, with the other by 2. Can't get much closer than that. Here's hoping the Caps don't let down, but winning #7 in NY is going to be a tall order. Will be a must see and should be fun. -- AlThe Caps played a solid game. The series should have been over except for a couple of bad breaks. I also worry when a team plays a complete game like the Caps did last night. It's usually followed by a let down for some reason. Going to be tough to win in NY, but every game the Caps have played has been close and they are due for a break to go their way.
The series should have been over except for a couple a horrible penalty called with 21 seconds left in game 5.
WW III begins on Monday night at MSG.
