Another OT game. This is a really good series. 2 all, what more could a fan want? -- Al

I think the real reason Boston lost is Rask has the worst playoff beard in history!
Gary

Chicago played a great game last night, they played like their season was on the line.

Because it was if they lost.

Their stars finally broke out, so did their power play, they actually scored on it, also got a shorthanded goal too.

Way to many odd man rushes tonight, Boston's defense had a bad night.

Despite that, the game was right there for them to take; holy @#$% Kelly, how did you NOT put that puck in the net, in the crease with it on the tape of your stick and you somehow missed the net?

And I guess the way to beat Crawford is gloveside; wow, FIVE goals to his gloveside, he was fighting the puck all night long.

What a series this has been, it's a best two out of three now..............

Totally Agree George......Chicago had their backs to the wall and escaped....2-2 Tied -Up^&grin....This is turning out to be a Great Stanley Cup Series:salute::....Boston needs to play lower scoring defensive games and get back to tight back checking, blocking shots and marking people more closely.....A wide open style of play favors the Blackhawks.....Either way bring on game 5:salute::

Boston's defense was bad Wednesday night, maybe all these OT's and the grind of the playoffs are catching up to Chara and Seidenberg as they both did not play well.

This series has lived up to the hype, that is for sure...............

Does anyone even remember there was a lockout this season. The tv rateings for this series are the best ever.
One thing I give to Chicago for sure is their national anthem singer and the crowd cheering thru it. From an outsider, he is much better than Bostons Rene Racin whatever his name is.
George, where do you sit? I look for you in the crowd pictures!
Gary

Rene is beyond horrible, he warbles his way through the anthem, just awful.

I sit 10 rows behind the Bruins bench, great, great seats, will be at game 6 Monday night.

LET'S GO BRUINS...........

Ahhhh you're both all wet, Rene rocks. :salute::

I must admit I can stop laughing when he sings the National Anthem...That guy is simply aweful and funny{sm4}

The season for the Bruins is on the line Monday, we'll see what happens.

If Bergeron is out, I think they are done.

They look gassed to me, they stopped backchecking and clearing out the crease area, 6 of the last 8 goals came off of second chance rebounds/putbacks/having someone camped near the crease.

Someone needs to take Canes head off, he's banging in some bunnies and that needs to stop.

The refs put away their whistles last night for the Blackhawks; not one to ***** about the refs, but there were at least three calls they let go, the last one where Krug was tripped and the result was the empty net goal was a disgrace. No penalties at all on Chicago? And they do a lot of stick holding, they do it quite a bit as a matter of fact, which is a real bush league tactic in hockey.

And how can you call a hook AND a dive on the same play; it's either a hook OR a dive, it can't be both.

All I ask is I don't want to see them skating around the Garden ice with Lord Stanley's cup; win and it's a winner take all game 7, anything can happen in that case......................

George, The Bruins are going to have to really hit in Boston....Some "Old Time Hockey" may be needed to force game 7....It will be ugly....but....Hit, Back-check, and Clear out that crease....No second chances on Rask and no rebounds........and I agree I also don't want the Blackhawks to carry The Cup around the Boston arena. If they must win the Cup......let them win it in Chicago.

Too many second chances, odd man rushes and bunnies off of players camped near the crease.

I really think Chara and Seidenberg are gassed from playing so many minutes, all the OT's and the grind of playoff hockey.

No matter what, no Chicago celebrations here in Boston, let them win it out there like you said if it has to happen................

Heading off to the Garden, do or die tonight; force a game 7, see which goalie is up for the task, winner take all.

LET'S GO BRUINS...........

Regardless, this has been one Hell of a ride.

Boston came fast tonight. I am glad the Hawks got out of the 1st period only being down 1-0.
Brian

The Hawks win!!!!!!!!!!!! :salute::

What a series.

Brian

Well, that is a very tough way to lose. One moment you're headed to game 7, another you're headed home. Condolences to George.

On the flip side, that's a heck of a way to win. It will be hard to replicate that. I've only seen one ever thing like this. In the European Club Soccer championships a few years back Manchester United was down 1-0 to Bayern Munich heading to injury time and came back to score two goals to win the Championship. Even some of Man U's fans had left the stadium. Bayern pulled defeat from the jaws of victory. Tonight was almost like that. Amazing.

The Bruins played their hearts out in the first period, applying trememdous pressure on Chicago. I did not have a good feeling however at the end of the 1st period with only 1 goal being scored for all that effort....A tough way to lose a game six on your home ice.....Just goes to show you can't let your guard down for even a "miniute and 30 sec" in the NHL...Chicago capitalized on their goal scoring opportunities in this game even though they were out played early.....Congratulations to Blackhawks winning the cup and Congratulations to the Bruins for a great effort. This series was excellent.

I agree, after the 1st period and only one goal with all their chances, bad omens!
At least the lock out extended the season, now only 3 months to wait till it all starts up again.
What I don,t like are the Hawks are in the Blues conference! Are they (Hawks) going to have cap problems like the last time they won the cup and had to partially break up the team?
Back to the Nation Anthem singers. The absolute best is when Philadelpia plays Kate Smith singing God Bless America!
Gary

The best regular season team won the Cup this year. That doesn't always happen in the NHL. Hockey is a maddening game. It takes skill, patience, and some luck to win. The Hawks had all of that going for them. A very good team. Congrats also to the Grand Rapid Griffins who won the AHL Caulder Cup.

If I hadn't have seen that finish in person with my own two eyes, I would not have believed it.

The true definition of a nut punch, going from forcing a game 7, to overtime, to a loss and the series is over.

Unreal.

Enough said.
