Should be a good series. Boston is red hot. Chicago is the better team. Crawford was the weak link in goal but he has played well in the playoffs for the Hawks. Patrick "better have correct change" Kane seems to have found his game. I think Chicago has too much firepower. They win in six.

In a very tough, hard fought, close series.... I am picking Chicago in 7 because of their shear talent......however that said..... Boston could win this series...it would not surprise me in the least. This should be a good one.

Hawks win in Triple Overtime. :salute:: One of the best games I have seen. Now I can go to sleep.

Brian

The Bruins had 4,145 chances to put this game away and couldn't do it, Chicago scores two goals on horrible turnovers, two on deflections and it took one game for me to realize Shaw is one annoying pain in the ***.

George you have Marchant, so I guess it balances out!
Is it me but where is Towes & Hossa?

Can't argue with that, he's their Marchant.

Who by the way was invisible last night; yes, no Toews, Hossa or Kane.

And they still won.:mad:

Fantastic Game Last Night...Great Playoff Hockey.....Both teams gave all they had......Everyone must be exhausted today....Looking forward to game 2....Bruins must not get discouraged...they are still in this....They let this one get away.....They must doa little better between the blue lines....This will be a close interesting series.

I must give the Bruins credit:salute::....They are resilient....Rask kept them in the game for the 1st period....Great Defense may just out do a Great Offense in this series.....Back to Boston{sm4}

Looked like the Blackhawks were going to run the Bruins out of the building in the first period, could have been 2-0, 3-0, 5-0 after one period, Rask saved them for sure.

The no goal was huge, that looked like a goal to me, they reviewed it and said no, looked like it was over the line.

Have to give the Bruins credit, they won the second, third and OT periods and the game as well, Chicago looked gassed in the third period and also OT.

Poor Jagr, he's got buzzards luck for sure, hit the post once again in OT, the game winner hit the post also but rattled in.

It's a best of 5 now, LET'S GO BRUINS, go home and take care of business.

You just had that feeling after Boston escaped that first period allowing only 1 goal that there was going to be a turn around.
George, what is Tim Thomas status? Is he coming back? I doubt it with the way Rask plays.
I,ll ask again, did Kane & Towes leave the building early?
Gary

Thomas sat out this year, it was his call, so the Bruins traded him to the Islanders, he's no longer on the team.

Million dollar talent, .05 cent head.

The Bruins are winning the puck battles along the boards, Jagr is a beast with the puck down low, this is how they beat the Rangers and the Penguins, they need to keep winning those puck battles.

Been a great series so far, just as advertised, both teams are playing a clean game, no after the whistle nonsense, no cheap shots, no nothing, just up and down the ice, great hockey so far.

2 overtime games in a row:salute::...... I think we may see 1 or 2 more overtime games in this series...These guys are gonna be very tired ^&grin...If it becomes a battle of wills, and conditioning I think the Bruins have a "slight" edge:wink2:....Blackhawks definitely have the superior firepower......Great Stanley Cup Hockey.{bravo}}

Gotta say, I'm enjoying the finals between these 'Original 6' teams. The only problem I have is that hockey moves so bleeping fast, my old eyes can't find the puck when viewing the TV. Thank heavens for replay slo-mo.:wink2:^&grin -- Al

The Bruins are on fire right now, their defensive play is incredible, they haven't lost in regulation since game 6 vs Toronto in the first round, they are a Rask stumble in the crease and a lucky deflection off of a defensemans skate away from being 12-0.

This series is far from over, but the Bruins are once again proving that when it comes to sports, it's not how you start, it's how you finish, just ask the 2007 and 2011 New York Football Giants and the 2012 Baltimore Ravens among others..................

It looks to me to beat Chicago you just have to out muscle them.
I was sorta of rooting for Chicago since they are from the Western Conference. But I,ve changed and now hope Boston wins it.

I'm not counting them out yet. They just need one win in Boston to get back on track. They are soft though. A lot of skill players that can light up the scoreboard if you don't put a beat down on them.

The Bruins are outhitting the Blackhawks and wearing them down, outside of Hossa, they have small forwards, the Bruins are putting on a defensive clinic this playoffs, shutting down the Rangers, Penguins and so far, the Blackhawks.

As Doug said, this series is far from over, as in far, far from over, if Chicago wins tonight, they get home ice back again.

Tonight is huge, the Bruins need to keep hammering the Blackhawks.
