Hi Guys,

As we are all aware the imposition of the recent tariff charges on all imports to the U.S. has created a host of problems and difficulties for all concerned.

As the situation remains fluid and subject to change at a moment’s notice King & Country does not wish to add to both U.S. collectors and dealers concerns by increasing our retail prices at such a time.

King & Country’s retail selling price will remain as is while we continue to provide a quality product, an amazing variety of different series and great customer service to all our friends throughout America and the rest of the world.

Rest assured it is our sincere hope that future trade agreements between different countries result in a more equitable situation for everyone.

With best wishes going forward,

Thanks for the clarification, but surely the pressure is on the importers (ie the US dealers) who will bear the brunt of tariffs?

If any price increases happen it would be down to US dealers not the off shore manufacturer.

Keeping the retail the same for the world is fine. 10-20% tariffs were being absorbed by dealers for the last 2 month. 54% tariffs were being discussed and now 104% tariffs may have just halted US imports. I have spoke to Julie , Mike at Sierra and George today.

If you place a direct order with K&C and it is $500.00 you will receive a duties/tariff invoice for $520.00 on top of that! If dealers order we will pay 104% of of our cost which will come out higher than retail prices. We cannot sell items at a loss?
Some of us have Free shipping, 3-5% CC and paypal fees.

And you will pay a "processing fee" from the carrier to push a button to allow your order into the US.

There are many things that we, as small businesses, absorb on a daily basis. But this 104% is not something we can and still be able to stay in business.

Here is one of many questions that had to be answered.

""""D....,
Our free ship threshold went up.

K&C does not pay tariffs. We do. So, if you bought direct, you would pay tariffs. If I buy, I pay tariffs. So, prices will have to go up if we need more stock.

Thank you. I did see a post on K&C Collector's page by Andy Neilson ( President )
that K&C is not going to raise prices on figures due to the tariffs. I did see your
minimum order for free shipping is going up to $129.00 and change. Both correct ?
Thanks, D....in PA"""""""

Matt and Julie are both correct, WE, the importers, are the ones who pay the tariff, NOT the manufacturer, not China.

We have two choices; eat it all (which Matt pointed out we were all doing in February when it was at 10% and March when it was at 20%, I spent close to 2,000.00 on tariff fees on my wholesale orders for those two months, 2,000.00 that I ate/came out of my profits) or eat some of it and pass part of it on to the customer in the way of a "tariff surcharge."

Now at 104%; game over.

And to top it off, as Julie mentioned, the carriers are now charging us a "tariff processing fee", DHL whacks us for 78.00 on top of the tariff we have to pay.

There is zero sense in importing an order when I will be paying 104% of the value of the order just to bring it into the country, that will wipe out all of my profit even if I pass a portion off to the customer in the form of a tariff surcharge.

Trump has managed to do to the toy soldier industry what the horrific attack on our country on 9/11, hurricane Sandy that hammered NY/NJ/PA, the housing market/stock market crash in 2008 and the Chinese man made COVID virus in 2020 could not do; destroy it.

GJGE Trump.

His tariffs are killing thousands of small businesses around the country.
