Has anyone purchased the Frontline Normandy Village? If so do you think it would work with 1/30 scale figures?

Frank,

I remember seeing it a couple of years ago and I really think it's too small for 1/30.

Frank:

jazzeum is right, it's strictly 1/32 scale and probably will not work well with 1/30 scale IMO.

Carlos

Give it to Carlos and he'll make it work even if its 1/144 scale. :D

It's very nice, but definitely too small for 1/30 unfortunately.

Thanks guys. :)

I've had my eye on it for a while but always felt it was going to be too small for 1/30

I got my set this year & it great for FOV & 21'st Century armour ,but not for K&C

The Frontline Normandy Village was designed to go with Frontline figures, which are all 1/32 scale.:)

It is 1/32, BUT................. as in most scale issues, it is close, most people would not notice the difference, so if you can live with it, I say go for it. I mix scales every now and then b/c I like something and I am not a scale expert or stickler, so I say when its between 1/30 and 1/32, its up to you whether you can live with the slight difference.

I was going to buy the set UNTIL I saw a photo of K & C figures with it and these figures were very nearly as tall as the floor of the second story, making the buildings way to small for 1/30 imo.

The same here, too small. There is no place for any Tank special a King Tiger...

I have seen it in person many times, and is definitely way too small for KC. You will notice the difference before you even put a 1/30th figure in the village.

Would this village work with Britians First Gear World War II figures? I also was thinking of buying this my self but new it was to small for 1/30.

It will work fine with 1/32nd scale figures and vehicles............

Still works for me with 1/30 too, BUT that is me, since I like the figures to show off better than the buildings, I am aok with a little larger figures. Ain't that the beauty of this hobby, each individual only has to satisfy ONE PERSON..............themselves!!

Remember in my Durbar scenes, I have elephants on the ampitheater stage due to space constraint in that dio!!!!!!!!

We just used the village in our latest Battle Scene for Frontline it is 1/32 and pretty cool!!!! Alex
