North West Frontier 1878 - 1900 (2 Viewers)

A running Pathan carrying a battle flag is attacked by an Officer of The Queen's Royal West Surrey Regiment.

The Officer was a special commission and came from the same source as my other QRWSR figures

Drummer James Roddick of the 92nd Gordon Highlanders, defending Lieutenant Menzies during hand-to-hand fighting in Kandahar, 1880, signed and dated ‘ W. Skeoch Cumming/1894? (lower left), pencil and watercolour, 28 x 42? in. (71.1 x 107.9 cm.), 1894.

This would make a great diorama. I bet you have the figures to recreate it.

Martyn very impressive, you certainly do not do it small. You have more troops now than actually were in these campaigns. ^&grin, Robin.

It doesn't get much better than this, Martyn. Now if you could just forward this picture to Mike N. with the words "please, please, please!" on it I'd much appreciate it. :wink2::tongue:

B. :salute::
