Oddball's Sherman (1 Viewer)

You can see the repairs are not quite complete. Some more ID markings to be removed.

Coming along nicely. As for the 90mm "extension" likely some brass rod replicating 90 mm in 1/32 would be best. Somehow a straw doesn't sound quite right. It should be able to slide over the actual barrel and give the impression of a 90mm gun (at least to a less observant Tigerbehälterkommandant).;)

Don't forget to replace the helmet on the other figure with a fez, for the Turk :)

Prost!

Some new pics of the Sherman. Finished removing ID marks Added a lot of details. Need a bunch more. I am thinking about removing the radio box?

Very nicely done, and perfectly illustrative of what you can do with the stock kits.

Are you still looking for something to use as the loudspeaker? I was thinking that a coffee creamer container might serve as the basis for kitbashing one. You know which ones I mean? The little one-serving ones used in restaurants. Some are ribbed, but some are smooth.

Prosit!

Absolutely freaking brilliant! Now all I need is a blue bucket and a duffle bag. Going to make duffle bag from poly clay.

There is a good view of the 90mm pipe extension mounted on the top of the right rear side in the scene where Oddball shows Kelly his Shermans. I would post a still but I can't seem to get my capture program to save it properly. Woof, woof.

I was thinking that the cut off tip of a plastic ball-point pen (without the ink thingy of course) may be suitable.

What I really appreciate is all the help you guys are giving me. I had seen the posters and was thinking about them. The creamer thing is going to work out and the clip showing the tube is great too. I will endeavor to perservere.

Oddball has his Turk!:)
I was able to carve off the chin strap and convert the helmet to a fez.
I have him right down to the swarthy skin and 5 day growth of beard.;)

Oh yeah man, we have these shells and they're filled with paint. When we shoot'em it makes pretty pictures. Scares the heck out of 'em.
