Oh Canada . . . Our new home (4 Viewers)

So cool looking!!! I can almost smell the prairie and hear the sounds of a Conestoga wagon and all its trappings. I love it!!!

Mike

Thank you kindly Mike. Perhaps the Oxen have added to the smell of the prairie 🤔😉

Great looking atmospheric diorama Mike.

THX Steve. I have pre-ordered two more figures for the display which are being released in May. Johnson's Royal Regiment of New York. Security forces for the refugees as they travel north through upstate New York.

You’ve captured the mood and theme well here Mike. The desperation to flee their homes due to fear of reprisals must have been overwhelming, given what lay ahead. This is such an excellent series and do hope John adds more to it soon…..

Your wagon being pulled by the oxen is a spectacular piece. Just setting that up would take some effort. I also like the grass and figures, great scene. Greg.

That’s a well rounded layout of figures venturing into the unknown, but a least under Blue skies. Robin.

Thanks Robin. Blue skies and a hope for a new home and country.

Great diorama Mike! The wagon looks great with the Loyalists.

Brendan

Thank you Brendan. When John first introduced the prototype figures I thought that they would be perfect with the Conestoga.

Thank you very much Toddy. I am now anxiously awaiting the next release to this series next month, Johnson's Royal Regiment of New York. I imagine these future additions as a "security force" to protect the loyalist refugees from the Oneidas as they travel north to Canada.

THX Greg. Hitching up the six oxen to the wagon took good eyes, steady hands, and a tweezer. Two out of the three are in short supply at my age 😉

Mike,
A well put together scene that shows moving…with caution.
Steve

Many thanks Steve. The Mohawk guide has cautioned his wards to move cautiously for fear of alerting the Oneidas. Otherwise they may not get to Canada with the hair on their heads.
Mike

They would likely be heading back to Europe if they knew how things had turned out. Wagons East.
