Always like these buildings you have, look really finished off well. The officer with the machine gun will no doubt get served first. Cheers, Robin.

Holy cow your second pic totally reminds me of a scene in The Pianist where they threw a crippled guy out the window

Maaate, that looks like one souped up black beetle!!!^&grin

Well done tho, i like it and the dio..{bravo}}

Tom

After a job well done ( see your thread "Gestapo") they did a tour of Paris in a lovely little black beetle ( to impress the French demoiselles -Ohlala...) and are now back to enjoy a drink in the little café where they made an arrest half an hour before.
(By the way Wayne, the name of the café is not VINS. CAFE-VINS means Pub and Wine in French , but I am sure you know that :p)

Nice dio mate!^&grin...all that's missing is trhe last pic saying ...'when suddenly 3 members of the french resistance appear and babababababababababbaba...the german officers are gone:wink2:

Beautiful work Wayne, I can almost feel free anger and resentment of the locals seeping out from behind all those closed doors.

Hi Wayne:

Love the dio. Who makes the VW? The scale seems perfect.

Imho Cafe = Coffee, the term Cafe subsequently being applied to a building where coffee was served.

Its 1/24 scale made by welly in china i reckon goes ok with K&C stuff.

What model year is the VW Wayne. ?

It has to be about 1974...

Its a Super Bug, with 1600cc enegine, and Mc Pherson Struff fomrt suspensin, which resulter in a larger luggge area in the front.

The extra vents on the engine compartment came as a reuslt of overheating with the lagrer engine.

I has a 1972 model but didn't have the extra vents like this one.

I hope that helps,

John

Wayne...

Great little car. I have just watched the BOB and, would think mits time for K&C to release a sports car or similar for the luftwaffe officers. We have a MG and, the Kriegsmarine have one
