Just got my email letter from John Gittens announcing this fabulous model. Thought I'd post the info but you fellows have beat me to it. Its a real shame that I only have a 4-foot x 8-foot table that I have my WB Defense of Hougoumont dio on :p ;) - now all I have to do is figure out how I can afford it.

Mike

Wow! I had to look twice to see if it was a dio image or an image of a real building!

Just got more details from JG:

On Monday Mandi will update the Treefrog website and include US pricing.

Many customers have expressed interest in this piece; we'll see what develops once pricing is firmed up based on the exchange rate and the cost to have it shipped over to the dealers all factored in..........

I just got the email, very nice indeed. As it says could be used for different era's,i think this will be very popular.

I really love it...

This means that now I have to get soldiers for it...

Should I look for the retired Britains on ebay?

Or will KC release a new load for it?

Time will tell

JPB

Which brand of soldiers will you use?

JPB

I haven't got the space unfortunately, not without a costly divorce. Hmmmmm......wife, Hougoumont, wife, Hougoumont.....hmmmm, nah, better not.;)

Those are some incredibly good looking buildings.
Wonder where they will end up on the price scale?
Very fine work, congratulations to JG for these releases.

A beautiful piece of work, that is gonna look amazing with vast amounts of soldiers added to it!

You Napoleonics collectors are very lucky! :)

After you purchase this you won't be able to afford vast amounts of soldiers. If you buy all 5 pieces together it is 973.84 GB pounds with the VAT tax. This is a savings of over 160 pounds if each section was purchased separately. Shipping to the USA is another 90 pounds (even higher for Asia and Australia). This is listed now on the JGM website in the 1/30 scale section. . . . . . Mike

Which based on the current exchange rate (which is again taking an nosedive out of favor) is slightly north of 1,700.00 clams.

That said, it is going to look sweet as a display for me at OTSN swarming with First Legion Napoleonics; kudos to John for creating what is IMO his greatest masterpiece, which is saying something as he has created some top shelf items to date.

Hi George. I think the JGM hougoumont grouping of the South Wall is just amazingly fantastic. I would love to have it but its going to take some real financial wizardry to do it. My Wm. Britain Coldstream Guards would look great with it. If you are going to have one at the OTSN I will be sure to stop by to say hello and to have a look at it . . . . . . . Mike
