Pics from my European trip 2024 (1 Viewer)

This is Vienna. Visited an old toy soldier shop Bohm in St Stephen Sq. I last visited about 40 yrs back. The shop is now operated by the son. Same friendly manner as his father. Old style model soldiers, toy soldiers and zinnfiguren.

Naturally I had to buy some model figures. Besides the painted figures, He had a decent stock of model kits for me to choose from.

I got his own very ltd prodn of a Hapsburg officer. Also a mtd Gen Junot figure ( numerous parts) and two OOP polish coy Krakus figures. Decent very hard to obtain and unusual figs at a decent price.

Hi John

Nice pics, those women wouldn't fit through modern doors in those dresses, 'fashion victims', like guys that bought Hammer Pants and Skinny Leg Jeans {eek3} ^&grin

Hi Matt,

no wonder those rooms were drafty, with wide doors. I do think that those panniers were very unwieldy. Hahaha

These pics are now from the Vienna military museum. Some toy soldiers, full size figures, and 18 inch statuettes impeccably made. I tk that the maker Krause was featured in an old JG Garratt toy soldier book for connoisseurs.
