WOW!!! I love everything there I WANT IT ALL. I hope that rubbled out building will be able to be purchased by collectors. How much will the war bird most likely cost with the figures??

Simply spectacular. 2007 looks to be a another great year of releases.
I am looking forward to hear more about Joan D'arc. I hope her availability is made easy.

I will notify everybody when it will be the time to pre-order it. At this time, they don't even know how much they will sell it. I expect someting like 150,00$ or 175,00$ (plus the shipping fees) as it will be produced for a dealer in Europe and at only 500 exemplaries. Also, it is a masterpiece.

Pierre.

Thanks Louis and Pierre. $150 for a single mounted figure seems a little steep but I'd appreciate the heads up on any information when its available.

As I said, it's an estimation but as the MK024 is 75,00$US, add 25,00$US for the big banner (a beauty), plus 50,00$US because it will sell in France and is limited at 500 exemplaries... then we go easily at 150,00$US.

I just checked and they (ToySoldiers Paris) are selling the MK024 80 euros which is 105,00$US.

But it will be a unique item.

I don't know about you guys, but for me the wait until March (the Westcoaster and the N.Y. Symposium) is going to be doubly hard, frought with anticipation of what Andy will be bringing to debut. I can't wait to see this stuff in person!

March is good. I'll have my IRS refunds by then.

Great stuff Andy,

I can't wait. Nice job on the Storch's windows. Will you be using the same concept for windows on other future planes and vehicles?

Carlos

Very nice. The windows in the Storch seem to be translucent (slightly frosted) rather than transparent but I won't complain as they are better than the painted blue versions of the earlier K & C aircraft. The markings are true to the exclusive aircraft Rommel used during the Spring of 1941. The remaining new molds are also attractive with the SS vehicle set being an interesting piece. Does it have clear windows?

Fred,

You don't like the camels? I guess to each their own but I love them, especially because I love the old Camel Corps. I just acquired one of them and will post a photo later tonight.

Joan d'Arc also looks fantastic and a must for me.

Brad, I'm sure the camels will be finely scuplted, perfectly painted and please a lot of collectors, but no, camels don't really do much for me, now if Andy were to make some horse drawn artillery for the Wehrmacht.... now that's something that could make me feel all warm and fuzzy.:D As for Joan, she'll look really out of place among a bunch tigers, panther, Shermans and M10's, again, beautiful piece, but it's a matter of priorities, funds and personal interest.;)

Fred

Fred,

I'm with you on this one. Camels are a nice twist on the N. Africa Theater but you're horse drawn artillery or supply wagons would be cool!

Carlos

Fred,

Horse drawn artillery may come later in the year for the European theatre but Andy is giving us a taste of the early 2007 releases.

Brad, is that may "probably" or may as in "maybe, maybe not"?:) I hope it's the former.;)

Fred

Give me Waffen SS Cavalry before camels anyday but I do recall some camel like K & C horses in the past :)

Fred,

Sorry, I don't have any inside information but I do hope that's something coming down the road.

Just wait those camels will look great with either the AK or EA sets. On the Gestapo set, I notice they are in a field-grey type uniform. Would this have been typical for the gestapo or would they more likely have been in black or even civilian dress? BTW: that dog reminds me of the German dogs in Hogan's Heroes who hardly struck fear into the prisoners.

Don't want to sound morbid or anything but does anyone else think that the Gestapo prisoner looks like he's being led away to be shot?!

Rob

I forget if this has been mentioned is there going to be any French resistance fighters? Or has nothing been said on this subject before.

I think the fellow being taken out in the dio is supposed to be a resistance fighter.
