I ptd over this mid range figures with some facial identities. The figures become a faceless crowd from this point onwards.

I’ve ptd the mtd figs. The last one has been elevated together with other figs to fit into the bkgd scene

thanks. Here’s more figure vignettes which I am making up for the crowd scenes. I modify the crude castings with additional new sculpts. As they are mostly hidden, I don’t bother with the details.

Here are the fig vignettes ive placed into the scene. The first pic shows the figs clustered around the mtd figure. The second pic shows the figs just behind the two Cossacks.

I’ve also added more fig vignettes to fill out the scene. These are probably the last batch. I’m focused on completing the hill backdrop.

Starting to finalise this piece. I’ve started to do final adjustments and additions to existing figures. For eg, the two women holding an icon near the front were elevated, shoes were added and shadows were painted as per the painting.

I’m also redoing the hill.

Finished the penultimate batch of figure vignettes. Notice how I try to match the colours to the ptg. I added inserted them into the crowd scene. Getting a good crowd size.

and then I came across the last lot of castings. Now redoing this final lot.

Hi all.

just came back from a short road trip. I added the last lot of finalised castings into the scene. Completed the hill and made final touch ups. It’s finally DONE!!!

it’s been a great project for me, and I’ve enjoyed sharing the journey with you lot.
