Saw this on Facebook a few days ago, but again, fantastic work Mike! Lots of action and drama in your setup 😎

Excellent scene Mike, think the guns are about to be overtaken. Gun batteries always make fantastic displays no matter what era. Robin.

Nice job Mike and I see the Marines back in support of the guns. Chris

You sure have created an action packed scene. Thanks for sharing it with us

Thanks Jason . . . Sharing our collections is great part of our hobby.

Good eye Chris . . . The Marines were there . . .

Lots going on in your diorama Mike :salute::

Thank you Steve . . . There was quite a bit going on that day in July 1861

Our idea of summer fun!
Wish we still had the ACW reenactment near here. We could use the smoke:rolleyes2:.
Seriously I love to see the guns go off around the 4th. We may have to drive to a reenactment a bit farther away this year.
Thanks for the great pics and Best Wishes,

I know what you mean. Once upon a time, long ago, I was a Civil War reenactor. My Union persona was the 2nd Wisconsin, and my Confederate personas were the 52 Virginia and the 10th Tennessee. It was a lot of fun . . .

I always intended to get into ACW reenacting and started to collect equipment. But then couldn't bear the woolen uniforms. :redface2: My sons and I wound up in a WWII unit. Lot of fun, we did reenactments at Ft Knox for the families. The armor museum, since moved to Ft Benning, even brought out tanks for the show. Chris

I had lots of friends who did both ACW and WWII as well as a couple who did WWI reenacting. Fond memories. Here's a photo of my 10th Tenn persona

You sure do like Volunteering Mike ! {sm4}

First the Marines for real, then you jump back a century for the Johnny Reb's, guess that Bourbon you like leads naturally to some Rebel Yells ! :salute::

Nothing quite like a couple of Old Rebel Yells . . . One is bone chilling, the other is intoxicating . . .
