Martyn,

Do you know which set the running bugler boy is from?

I do not have this figure, but the bugler boy is carrying a helmet with ?ammo inside.

Raymond.:)

Hi Lt.,

Thanks very much for the reply with the clarification on the 24th buglers.

I recall that a young bugler was KIA in the the movie "Zulu Dawn".

Kind Regards, Raymond.:)

Hi Martyn,

Thanks very much for the additional information.

The KRRC set from the Egypt and the Sudan series is interesting.

The officer is reloading his revolver, the ORs are at the ready and the bugler is as in HZ17.

Yes, some figures do make re-appearances in different series with albiet small differences.

Kind Regards, Raymond.:)

That was 1000 quid I saw?
That looks like a standard release.
I have one.
Not sure why it went for so much.
You could buy the Eagle or Leopard for that

Two bidders went over the £1000 mark:eek:

I found the set listed in the 2003 Trophy catalogue with a recommended retail price of £31.50

Cheers

Martyn:)

The flags don't have the same centre detail and the cords appear to be a different colour, but even so that is a lot of money for a single figure!

Jeff

Hey, at least is is a very nice flag and cord.:D

Maybe the collection is now complete.

It semms the Rorkes Drift Defenders set is no longer listed.
Anyone know who bought it?

Damian,

It is still listed at USD $799.95 and not bought yet.

Have you seen the K&C Boer War mounted sets x 4 on eBay?

I think these are early K&C 1/32 scale glossy.

Best, Raymond.

Ok guys what do you think?
Trophy or somebody else?
I think Trophy but may be wrong.

Here are pictures of my Ammunition Mule sets. The mule on Ebay is different, the closest it gets is to the mule shown in my original set EQ17, the last set shown. Hope this helps

Set# EQ17A

Here are comparison shots of my other Ammunition Mule sets, all these sets are also numbered EQ17A
