Public Service Announcement (2 Viewers)

Hi guys, i just won the wwi set eq65. Hopefully it will arrive in one piece. The only defect is that one of the chains ist to short that hooks up the horses. Has anybody ever replaced these and if so where do you get the chains.

I'm going to second that! I've used these and similar hobbystore chains to put on a couple Mountford 9pds, and they look the same gauge as my Trophy wagon accoutrements, though a tad cheaper in quality. I think the Trophy chains were brass instead of plated.

Great set to own Hawkeye, well done. You shouldn't have any trouble replacing the chains, there has been some excellent advice given here.

Thanks for the thoughts guys, but methinks this is going to go for a lot more than $500. more like my left #&*! But I will not give up on Trophy!
