Morning chaps. Guys if this thread gets too personal or has a go at another forum it's only going to get shut down , my attempt at humour re the Lavatories was just that, only an attempt to have a laugh, been some unpleasantness around these here parts of late . Loved Jacks ' going through the motions' ^&grin Pleases excuse me as I have a cough this morning....cough cough ....gold medal table...,cough cough...third overall...,cough cough^&grin

Have a good weekend chaps!:smile2:

I agree, why bother to go there anymore, there are far more pleasant places and people. I'm also over the toilet humor, if you can call it that.

Maybe it's time to close this thread down before it turns into us verses them again. Simmo.^&confuse

Poppo is not totaly wrong. I think Rommel was more an exception .
Here you have a picture of the Generals Manstein and Hoth during the Russian campaign . Picture taken in 1942

Rommel had a reputation for being at the sharp end so it does make sense that he would be more likely to eat on the run as it were. But you also have to consider that photographers are more likely to attend events where groups of senior staff are assembled together.

if it had been anyone other than Rommel (like Manstein, bock etc) we could have said it was a little far fetched but, as has been said Rommel fought from the front with his troops so, it makes perfect sense. Now, just need a driver and staff officer and something grey for him to ride in!!

If only Rommel was from Hamburg, now that would be perfect :wink2:
