It still is, 3 versions. G.P.A. Jeep, I can see it as a Marine vehicle, but I don't remember anything about it being in the European theater. Was it used with the LCPs across the Rhine?

I am not sure i bought it because it is a neat looking vehicle for the price of a figure.Sorry Mike B.

Hey CS. How about yielding to public demand and producing 100 of the Berlin 38` Lichterfeld Barracks sets. I am pretty sure, you will sell every set. I've seen a lot of members posts looking for these. I can guarantee that I will buy one center, plus 2 ends.

Me to i would grab the same.................:)

Sad to say but, its looking less likely that it will be redone. Looks like Wayne will get a set

We got them to change Coke back to the original formula, surely we can get this done.

Regarding these diorama buildings such as the Lichterfeld sets,I think many collectors hesitated a bit too long on these. by the time everyone realised how nice they were.......everything was gone. {sm2}

Do the decision makers at CS monitor this forum for insightful suggestions such as ours?

Yes, Brian the owner tunes in here quite often. The current problem may be the release / production schedule of products already in the works.Maybe they could do a factory direct pre order list to confirm interest in doing more Lichterfeld sets. ???

Another point is the value of the limited number of sets. Too many sets out in the world would mean the pricing would be lower to garner prospective buyers interest. Doesn't mean the sets would change in price though. Another idea is to have a new set design of the same, but in another period. Winter, or after the fall.

You mean yourself!!! I remember a thread where we discussed LAH buildings etc where you were saying how very nice this release was and, a ''must buy'' just after their release, when a few of us, were talking about having bought it. you don't seem to hesitate on other items but, its strange, that when you miss something that you want, we have threads appealing to the owners to release them in extra formats.

You do have a habit of telling everyone not to wait for K&C sets and get them quick as they will sell out but, seem not to take your own advice.

My First look at these sets and, the low number CS always release meant the order went in straight away. I think instead of asking for things to be released again, (which, IMO is a backward move for manufacturers) you should buy at the time they are available or, just be happy with what you have and move on. perhaps, instead of looking at what you have missed you should be happy with what you have in your collection. Nobody, has everything and there will always be things collectors miss.

New buildings are in the off and, your time may be better spent contacting CS dealers worldwide. Not meant to offend anyone but, just the way I see it. we could have endless threads asking for sets collectors miss out on on this forum but, its very rare that they get redone.

I think Mitch's post sums it up very well. I had the same feeling with the Office set as should have got more when I could. I think
the same is currently happening with the K&C Mosque/Temple where some left it too late.

In view of the popularity of LAH parade figures (CS and K&C) it is not surprising these buildings sold well. Some will have bought 4 end pieces to go with one centre piece speeding up the sell out.

Brian would have been very happy with the quick turnover of this item.

My advice is that these kind of diorama items should be given more priority by collectors. Some tend to go for the figures and vehicles first and it is too late when they realise how much difference such a piece makes to a diorama.

Regards
Brett
