Of course if you were really keen, you could always track down the series back in the mid nineties, ‘Arnhem 44’., Robin.

I have the entire series although I may be missing a Jeep.

I enjoy K & C's Arnhem figures and might have to pick up a figure or two from the new crop.

JG Miniatures did such a fantastic job on those Arnhem building pieces. Certainly iconic for the location. After Ancient Egypt and Zulu, MG was my next foray and after that Light Horse and Sudan. Really pleased Andy is returning to this series as it never seems to get old. Expect sales to be strong and result in more releases next year. Robin.

Yes mate, all new sculpts. There are similarities to the figures in MG and Arnhem 44 series, but nevertheless aren’t quite the same, so for me, happy to gather them all up. Can justify them as Christmas presents.. Robin.

This is simply incorrect. At the very least, the soldier carrying the wounded soldier, the soldier looking at his map and the two man mortar set are new.

I said not much difference Brad and they are fairly similar poses to the older stuff, no ground breaking designs.
Not having a go it's just an observation.

I don’t know how you could make them significantly different. Be that as it may, there may be collectors who are just getting interested in this series and may not have the opportunity to purchase the older ones.

Just my simple observation these look very very similar to the old sets simple as that nothing NEW.

I’m looking forward to this series. I’m a new collector and haven’t been able to pick up many of the old ones! Don’t know if I’ll go whole hog though. Still, they look great! Excellent work, Andy!

But you do have to be clear. Perhaps just an inexact use of the term as double dipping refers to something else.

This a great vignette, still one of my favourites in this series. Robin.

A notable difference with these new chaps that I quite like are they are all wearing helmets, both plain and camo, plus the stand sizes have greatly reduced particularly for the lying down blokes.

The 'resting' figures are a stand-out for me too.

I don't mind mixing and matching the old and new K&C - I don't see any problem with the new ones either. You are correct IMO about the JGM stuff blending in well.

I think the Arnhem series and MG series are fantastic. Love the fact the early Arnhem series set come as a limited edition with a certificate.
I tend to mix and match all my soldiers/vehicles to create sceens.
I even have the odd Arnhem figure that did not come in a set and a couple Del Prado figures that matches the Arnhem/MG sets.

I love the last 2 pics as they have 3 different mortars sets. Two from the old Arnhem limited edition set, one from the later Arnhem set and one from the Market garden set.
Mixed with a load of Market Garden figures and a Del Prado figure...
