Theres a big difference here.

Thanks for the heads-up Wayne. Can you post some overhead shots of them side by side, that is easiest way to compare model sizes.

Keep in mind that the Panther hull without side skirts was 8" longer and 8" wider than a JS-2. Including the turret, it was also 10" taller.

I measured the JS-2 model and it is 1:30 scale. I do not have the CS Panther to measure, but the hull should be 22.9 cm X 10.9 cm to be 1:30 scale.

Wayne, thanks for the pic mate. There does appear to be a slight discrepancy in the scale sizes as the Panther looks a bit too big imo, but measured dimensions of both models would help to clarify any errors, if any.

As requested.

OzDigger..

It does look like the scaling is wrong in this picture but, here are the real measurements below, remember, the panther was a huge tank and fooled with the medium tank status.

JS
Length: 9.90 metres
Height: 2.73
Width: 3.09

Panther
Length: 6.87 metres (without barral measured)
Height: 2.99
Width: 3.27
: 3.42 (with skirts)

This should help do the math to convert

The same numbers I use except for the length of the JS-2 which without the gun is 6.68 metres
