Some pics of a repaint in progress on the TG SdKfz 253 which is a beautiful little vehicle. I think it looks well in grey. (Still some touching up to do on wheels etc.) The officer is a FL DAK figure repainted to match their Wehrmacht figures.

I agree a GREY one would of been great,and this one looks brilliant but the commander looks like he needs a feed..................^&grin

Thanks, Bradley. Started with an overall fairly uniform grey wash, then lightly brushed on touches of paler colours here and there e.g. off white and light brown for rim over tracks. These can be dabbed with bits of sponge (like packing on most toy soldier sets) to get a more natural spread. Then applied a coat of Quick Shade (Dark Tone) which gives a richer darker effect and brings up the features round turrets, hatches etc. Let that set for 24 hours and sprayed with a matt finish. Happy enough with it but still have some more touching up to do! C.
