Lieutenant-General Sir Garnet Wolseley

tel16.jpg

Field Marshal Garnet Joseph Wolseley, 1st Viscount Wolseley, KP, GCB, OM, GCMG, VD, PC (4 June 1833 – 25 March 1913) was an Anglo-Irish officer in the British Army. He served in Burma, the Crimean War, the Indian Mutiny, China, Canada, and widely throughout Africa — including his Ashanti campaign (1873–1874), Zulu War 1879, Egyptian War 1882 and the Nile Expedition against Mahdist Sudan in 1884-85. He served as Commander-in-Chief of the Forces from 1895 to 1900. His reputation for efficiency led to the late 19th-century English phrase "everything's all Sir Garnet", meaning "all is in order."

King Richard I - Richard the Lionheart

From a mix of casting kit parts from Whitetower Miniatures. Items can be selected from a list of parts made available, to make up many types of Knights. I just chose to make Richard. If I were to make him up again - I'd probably choose a different shaped shield, more in keeping with his time ( a longer one).

Victor,
Those are great Cimier figures. I wish that I could paint that well. I don't even try.

Hello MikeNick,

Thanks for your kind words. I do admire quite a bit of the older commercial stuff eg Courtenay, Alymer, Bob Hornung etc, but primarily, I enjoy making or converting my own figures.

Nice figure of Johnny Depp!
What I am showing do not match in quality. I picked them up on ebay: Carlos V, D. Sebastin de Portugal, and Felipe II.
