shock and awe (3 Viewers)

No kididng Mitch...for it to be done right, it would have to be pretty massive for certain! But heck, I found a way to get a pretty good size 'fridge into our little townhome. Yes I had to actually remove two doors, so I could tell the wife that I am experienced enough now to pave the way for a Figarti Navarone, if it were to exist. I'm sure that would go over real well  She'd probably agree to it as long as the mountain complex contained sleeping quarters or a German police doghouse, because that would be my new residence! :p

Could you imagine the size this thing would have to be!!!!!!! Never mind shock and awe please take of the front door or remove the patio windows to get it in the house.

I think we may have to settle for something with a little less SHOCK and AWE but which will still be displayable without having to take the house apart or build a new part to display

Hmmmmm An armoured train would fit anywhere:)

I am getting more attracted to that idea everytime I hear it. Definately one I would order

It may not generate that much shock and awe but, I'd like to see more Figarti planes such as the HE111 or ME262, preferably with ground crew figures being optional.

Shock and Awe 2010...... what is it?

Well, its bigger than a bread basket, you'll be shocked by the affordability, and oh..... there's more than one this year! Spaces at the Lunch with Figarti is filling up, don't miss seeing the shock and awes first hand.

See you soon,

Rick

Me 262 ;)

For sure an armoured train would be Figarty
biggest seller ever(affordable price)
Nobody touched that one yet.
Would be very affordable making and selling piece by piece
like add-on from month to month
U buy the engine this month
next month add wagon or gondola with AA
whatever is produce next
I'm quite sure lots of collectors would go for that
instead of paying a big chunk at one time
Surprized nobody though about that

You may be on to something there.
The hobby has been crying out for this for years, and as you say, collectors could go for a chunk by chunk purchase plan, which makes sense in the current climate. And together, it's big enough for the 'Wow!' factor. Different wagons, flatbeds, armoured carriages etc.
I like your thinking. :)

I would defintely go for the German train ...car by car by car. Seriously, I would place the track on the fireplace mantle and do the add on's. Count me in.

Following Figarti's trend on American 1/30 series, he started off with Pacific, and Mediterranean/Tunisia. Is Normandy next in his agenda?

Rick said..."it's bigger than a bread basket." That could be anywhere from a foot to 4 feet. I would say maybe a C-47 Dakota followed by a towed WACO glider plane?

N-P

Didn't Figarti say it would be affordable?? A U-boat although great would be unaffordable for many. I know from the price of the full Andrea one and the conning section how expensive they are.

We know the Owl will be presented at the show so, would he do a shock and awe aircraft?? I don't know. My guess something else its just I cannot think what.

I think he should just do the decent thing and tell us..... You know you want to
