Again, thank you for your wishes. Funerals are always a surreal event in some respects. Fortunately our family was able to keep it private and the FBI and local law enforcement did a great job in that respect of keeping the press away as they have proved to be quite resourceful in their attempt for quotes (unfortunately, one nephew succumbed by doing what he thought was a tribute, but it opened a gateway on Sunday/Monday).
The one thing I will say on this subject and then consider it closed is that racism is a disease and it is an ugly one, the perpetrator in this case hated just about everybody(according to the briefing the family received from the FBI), but especially Jews, Israel and anyone associated with them including our President. Sadly, in this case our family couldn't even watch the news to see a tribute to our loved one, instead they endured albeit shortly (they are not watching any news now) a political fire blame game fanned by our free press. That is just unforgivable on top of an unbelievable and shocking sadness. Probably the hardest part of this whole situation was seeing an immediate family trying to grieve while also trying to avoid the circus of media ratings.
