Six paint choices of Eagle Design SdKfz 251 (1 Viewer)

Think that they need to lose the flag. It looks like kinda like it's made out of play-doh (the flag, I mean)!;)

Particularly like the Grey and Winter versions. Eagle Design seems to have done these well and a good price. Robin.
 
I think that's the first time I've seen an 'ambush' coloured Halftrack...very nice.
 
They do look very good! I just purchased the winter and late war camo versions and I may get the desert version later. The only criticism I can see with the desert version is the number plates being SS. I'm pretty sure the SS weren't involved in the desert campaign, only the Wehrmacht. I also agree with Moe about the flags on all the halftrack versions, they are way to thick!

Hi Tom

Please let us know your thoughts on what they're like when you get yours.
I also noticed the SS number plates as also as far as I'm aware the SS were not involved in the war in the desert like you. However when I purchased the desert version Protze, where as the original photos show WL, plates when delivered they were I'm pleased to say for me at least, WH plates.

Yep the flag does look kind of on the thick side, fortunately it's not stuck on or part of the vehicle moulding !

On a plus point opening rear doors and well detailed tracks at a fair price what there to moan about ^&grin

I like the Winter, but do not know of this version being gray. By 1943 when this came out, everything was coming from the factory in Dunkelgelb

Problem with DAK is that the D never made it there as far as I know

I will buy the DAK version but use it on the Ostfront

No worries Steve, I'll post my thoughts when they arrive. I have a dio in mind as well which I will use the camo version in.

Good pickup about the D version, I read that production didn't start until 1943 which means it's unlikely that any were sent to the desert.

I doubt it as they were just released. Some say they have placed orders already but probably another week or two before arriving.
 
As I have mentioned, I have purchased two of these halftracks and I noticed my purchase listing (picture of the vehicle and the Ebay listing) was removed in my purchase box. I never queried why (but I did wonder) and then I got an email from the seller (y-weido) and he said it was removed because of the Nazi flag draped over the front of the vehicle. I guess the political correctness madness has now hit Ebay and this will effect other sellers selling TS products that has this flag!

Tom it always been that way on eBay . I had the same problem with my order for the half track and now have no way of tracking my order !
 
Just got my halftrack and will post photos later ^&cool
