Might be tough Raymond, especially if you have to go to work that day.

Brad,

I am OK for this match. This one is on a Sunday and I am off roster.:)

Thank goodness for that.....but I can't say the same for many other matches.

Many QF matches, all SF matches and the Final are in the 2.30 am time slot.:(

Raymond.:)

I am looking forward to the 13th and the Australia vs. Germany match.
Hey Simmo, get the beer cold and ready :D
Germany's world cup team looks like some kind of patchwork to me but we'll see if we can beat the socceroos :D ;)
Will you be watching?
Konrad

That could be rough Raymond. I will be over in China starting on June 25 so I may have the same problem

Do not miss Brazil X Portugal June 25th at 10:00 am Eastern time.

Thanks for posting the links , Some very nice GOALS :) Having grown up playing the game and being a life long fan of the sport , I watch every game I can . We all have favorite teams that we watch and follow Religiously . When the World Cup comes around its a chance to see all the Great players from all over the world whom we don't get to see on a regular basis , IMO that is what is Great about the world cup . I will watch every game whether live or on replay , I wish your team well . All the best Gebhard

Gebhard my friend, we can discuss about this for the all day, but I will try to tell you what I am thinking (sorry for the English)

Dunga was an excellent and hard worker defender; he was the captain of Brasil in 1994 USA WC. At the time, no many players played in Europe, but now among the 23 players called for SA 2010 only three players play in the National league in Brazil. The rest plays in Italy, Spain and German.
Brazil also was known as an offensive team that never had a good defence line but for the last 3 years, Dunga is trying to develop a European style of futebol, very defensive, and without offend my Europeans fellas, UGLY style of play that does not reflected the our way of play. Nevertheless, it is working, since Dunga is the coach Brazil has won every competition and qualified three rounds in advance for the WC. Today Brazil has one of the best defensive line in all time, with the best keeper from Inter de Milan, Julio Cesar, nice defenders like Lucio, Juan , but the midfield and the attack is very average-poor...something that was a trade mark of Brazil the ATTACK..... is not that good today, I can’t see Robinho do much (I do hope I am wrong)

About Ronaldinho: IMO he should be there for sure.
Brazil has not a good Mid-field, someone who can organize and prepare the strikers and in the same time become a striker himself, he is the kind of player who you just have to unleashed on the field, if you try to tell him what to do is not going to work, and this was the problem of Ronaldinho in the national team....

Now, one week from the start we can only pray and hope that we will add a sixth star on the left chest of the canary yellow shirt.

Regards

Your English is very good ;) Thanks for taking the time to give me your thoughts on Dunga and the non playing of Ronaldinho . I have bin lucky to have seen Ronaldinho play 3 times total the last was with Milan , IMO he is a Great player and its a crime for him not to have a chance to represent Brazil . Dunga has made his choice and now has to live with it , if they win he will be a Hero if not I think he may have to move to another country :eek: . I will be watching every game and will wish your team well . All the best Gebhard

Yo Troopers, need I say more than the photo:D. Watch the Three Lions Roar. Forgot to mention for our Spanish friend I will be in Spain watching.
Bernard.

Guys, no European team has ever won a World Cup played outside of Europe... EVER! Somehow these things seem to have some kind of weight...

Hey debrito today i put 5 euro on Robinho, that he will be the best scorer of the world cup and i get 200 euro if i win.He have quota 40,what do you think my chances are?
You think Fabiano can score more or Ronney,or Messi,...?

Hope there are big crowds for all the games, hate seeing half empty stadiums.Apparently out of all the nations America has sold most tickets,so they should have a large contingent of fans there.

Of course there will be a large presence of our 'Barmy Army' over there too, lets hope for no crowd trouble this time round.

Rob
