So true. -- AlShould be 2- 2. We was robbed !
It is a disgrace to have a blown call like this on the world's largest stage for soccer. FIFA needs to wake up, and at the very least, install technology that guarantees no outrageous missed calls effect the games. This is the most basic and important element of the game. When a game turns on one goal, it is essential that no goals be lost to archaic notions of tradition. The calls must be correct. One ref is insufficient. Come on FIFA, get with it! -- AlIt is painfully obvious that one ref cannot do the job properly. The players of today are just too fast for one man to be where he needs to be at all times. FIFA needs to wake up. Time to come into the 21st century. -- Al
Beware the Hun in the sun. -- AlTime to scramble the Sptfires !!
Geez, these Germans are really good. Just shooting the English defense to pieces, like it doesn't exsist. Now, that goal that wasn't, is the turning point. Nice job, FIFA. -- Al
Maybe, but as I said before and as Brad said, that disallowed goal changes the whole game. Would have been interesting to see the game at 2-2. I guess those are the breaks when the ruling Gods of FIFA won't acknowledge the need to update. -- AlI knew going in we would be on our way home, England just aren't that good !!
