I guess that must be about right. Let's see Germany-Argentina though to see how this fantastic German team does under really top pressure:rolleyes:.

This is about a physical matchas I can remember seeing and the Dutch are making up for lack of speed with physical play and the Brasilians have fallen into the Dutch trap -- and now they are down to 10 men. Dunga is not helping matters by acting like a player or one of us instead of a coach. They have less than 15 minutes to salvage their Cup.

Well, that's that. The big winners in this are obviously Spain and Argentina (at the moment), who in all likelihood will face each other for a spot in the final.

They played down to the Dutch and lost their composure and so they're out. Quite a shocker.

I guess Brazil aren't used to being out-played like that and lost their cool.

I never thought that I will say this phrase in my lifetime, BUT GO ARGENTINA GO......

I know this is a big disappointment for you Rod so you have my sympathies.

The ref let get the match get out of hand. A lot more yellows should have been handed out sooner.

Brad thanks for the words, remember we spent 24 years without victory...and the last 16 years we start to get back to victory again 1994 and 2002

...I wasn't expect much from this team, but I do really liked the first half, and the HUGE mistake by Julio Cesar (Holland first goal) really make a different...SO, another 4 years to wait...at least we are already qualified for 2014...:)

Netherlands 2 Brazil 1.....never expected this result.

I saw the incident that lead to the red card for Felipe Melo.....not a nice sight.

Up next.....Uruguay vs Ghana.....no more surprises please.

Good Night, Raymond:)

Just when people were writing off European football!.Well played Netherlands,I've always thought on the day you can be a very skillful and dangerous team to play, great achievement beating Brazil.Hard luck Brazil, but a team with your History and skill will always return.

Well Rodrigo, tough luck today, I haven't seen the game yet but with the Dutch it would certainly always be a hard one:(. Brazil, 5 times champions, I guess you have to give the other ones some chances too:D. Don't be sad, I expect you'll get your 6th title in the next World Cup, to be played in Brazil (it surely will come to be a great festival;)). But probably it would be better to get rid of Dunga (and Filipe Melo:mad:) and get back to the beautiful football. Sometimes losing is the mother of changes and better things to come. I do miss the Brazil 82 team:(...

Paulo, valeu pelo o suporte...thank you my friend, yes lets wait another 4 years and try to save some money to go to Brasil in 2014....

Who you will think for the final....

Mueller is a God, only 20 years old, he is a scoring machine not bad for a "ballboy".........

Final score: Germany 4 Argentina 0

Australia and England don't look so bad in hindsight :)

"Ballboy" might be Maradonnas new job :D

What a performance by the Germans, they are relentless, just keep attacking, they are poetry in motion, soccer at it's best, a joy to watch, no nil-nil winning on penalty kicks for this team.

Three strait trips to the semi finals at the World Cup and they are such a young team, their future looks very bright at the moment.....
