This Sturmtiger was captured near Düren in February 1945.

Gorgeous stuff Frank! I love the paint job, that's what I was hoping for on the K&C Jagdtiger.

Thanks guys, I'm glad you enjoy the pictures. It really is a well done piece. There is interior detail featuring stowed 380mm rockets on either side of the superstructure as well as a rocket on the loading tray.

I though you might enjoy a few pictures showing the loading process to get the rockets on board. A normal load consisted of 14 rockets (including 1 on the loading tray and 1 in the launcher).

I still kick myself for missing this magnificent beast. I tried to order one 2 days too late, and begged Anna to make one for me, but to no avail.:(

I wish HB could find a way to start manufacturing AFV's again. I would not mind one bit paying top dollar for such quality. I would pay the "going rate" and then some for pieces like this. Frank, you are lucky man!:) Many of us don't own HB AFV's, but your pics allow us to at least admire them, so thank you very much for that. Great pics, btw, as always. The H & A factory looks amazing as well. Excellent stuff - Joe

Just for fun, let's say one of the behemoths shows up on Ebay... What do you think it would sell for?

Who's to say. We don't even know for sure how many were made. I've heard one, and I have heard 6. But I know at least 3 people who would probably pay $1,000.

Frank,

That is truly one of the nicest models I have ever seen in the hobby.^&cool^&cool^&cool^&cool I could kick myself for not having purchased one - I tried to order one a couple of days after Honour Bound stopped taking orders on the gold edition vehicles, and it remains one of my biggest disappointments.:redface2:

Great looking Sturm and the pictures just highlight how well detailed and painted this HB vehicle is. A beaut. -- Al

Another really well laid out dio. It gives the feeling that a nearby strong point is about to get a visit from a heavy shell.
