Thanks Joe and Martyn. Glad you are enjoying them.

I am glad to see several pictures of figures from this series. I have been looking for the 6 Defenders of the Alamo for a long time with no luck at all. For information sake, the Crockett, Bowie & Travis figures in fighting poses vs. a Mexican all on rectangular stands were issued in about 1994. In 1999 a new revised pose was done on Jim Bowie. He is in 2 pieces a sitting pose and a box or crate that he sits on. His knife is stuck in the ground in front of him. Davy swinging his rifle was issued on a base with a rounded shape and a light tan like dirt base. It is much different than the rectangular base. Travis was redone too. The rectangular base pose has him lunging forward with a sword in his right hand and a pistol in his left. In the 1999 revised pose he is firing a pistol in his right hand but also has a pistol in his left hand. Again there is a sort of rounded base with a light tan sort of dirt base. Mrs. Dickenson and George Kimball were also done in 1999 on these sort of rounded bases with earth tones on the bases. The revised poses seem to be very difficult to find. I keep hoping that someone will help me find these 6 Defenders. I also am looking for the 2 glossy Alamo Defenders by K & C from the mid 90's.

Tommy,

I think we only still need to see a closeup of the Texas Flagbearer. Thanks for the outstanding pictures.
