Having just completed their triumphant tour of Europe, with the last stop in England, members of the Citadel decide to take a R & R stop in New Jersey on their way home to the Palmetto stop for a long deserved rest.

Brad,
I think you had better send the ole boys back down below the Mason Dixon where they belong!!!!!:tongue:

Really too cool, great acquisition!
Tom

Like someplace in Maryland? ^&grin:cool:

Thanks but thanks to Martyn for making it possible.

Fantastic pick-up Brad, and what a nice gesture by Martyn helping you get them.:smile2:

Great set... I wonder how many were made?

South Carolina has an interesting state flag.

Raymond.:)

Superb pictures Brad, I am really pleased they have found a great new home {bravo}}:salute:::salute:::salute::

Cheers

Martyn:)

Martyn has that special knack Brad of providing a helping hand when needed when ever he can. It sure looks like you've caught the Trophy Bug and it's nice seeing the pleasures it'sbeen giving you as you've added sets to your collection..........Joe

Thanks all. According to a sheet from the Citadel that Martyn sent me 39 different kinds of figures were made and they were hard to get because to get just one figure you had to make a donation of around $4,000 (not sure the exact amount).

Hi Brad: Very nice acquisition to your collection. Here are some more to look for.

Tommy,

Thanks. I actually have the fellow in the back but when I was setting up for photos, a wind came up and blew him off, with some minor damage, so I need to get him out of sick bay :smile2:

{eek3} I wondered where he had gone, I've just emailed you

Cheers

Martyn:)

Those are really nice figures - but I don't know the story behind them. Anyone care to try with a few more facts? johnnybach

Look on page 3 for the thread "Citadel Cadets Pass In Review" dated 12-28-10 for more information.

Thanks folks - a very interesting concept. Good for Trophy - and a nice reward for donors. johnnybach (from South Glamorgan too).

Ok, who's giving me $10 K so I can get three more figures?
