Is the model construction fairly robust/sturdy throughout?

Thanks Joe. I think it is. The conning tower, sub level, and water sections are all pretty solid and heavy. The railing comes off in sections and are bendable.

All these new upcoming items for the U-96 series have me wanting to pull this set out again…
