Winter 1980, a British Para forms part of a small garrison stationed at Stanley, the capital of the Falkland Islands. Robin.

Thanks Gary. The building is from our forum member Carlo in Italy ( Risorgimento).Have a number of his works, all very nice and reasonable cost. The figures are K&C (MG, FOB & Dickens). More to follow. Robin.

Wouldn't of thought so Chris, far too many differences from top to toe, type of uniform to webbing to weapon.

Beret would be okay, though even the way Soldiers shaped their Berets changed since WW2, little details of course, the cap badge would have Queens crown on wings rather than Kings crown, though that'd be too small a detail to see and paint in miniature I guess even in a decal probably. {sm0}

Also thought there were only Royal Marines on Falklands before war in 82. But not something I've studied, I'm sure there are forum members who have.

I think Robin is doing his best with what he has to hand in his enthusiasm for the forthcoming range, in much the same way as I did for the Vietnam range !:salute::

I hope so. I've just sold some Britain figures, so I have a pot just waiting to go K&C's way.

Fingers crossed for Falklands and Vietnam people. WW1 and Naps would be nice but a long shot.
