I received the new Messerschmitt ME 262 B-1a/U1 Night Fighter model (ACE 262NF) yesterday and John has outdone himself yet again. The model is stunning! Lots of neat features, particularly the opening gun bay doors, removable engine panels, and functional leading edge slats/spoilers. Cockpit detail is fantastic. There’s actually a bit more to assemble on this model compared to other JJD aircraft, but it’s a fantastic model through and through.

I’ve included some pics of my display below. I definitely recommend this model if you’re into WWII aviation 😎

I saw this beautiful display on Facebook. Well done TMan on the display.

Beautiful aircraft and display. Nicely done, Tman!

Funny to see this post come back up over a year later, and thanks again for the kind comments, everyone! I still have this excellent model set up in a nearly identical display as pictured… The ME-262 is easily my favorite JJD WWII aircraft 😎

Great set up mate now you just need a Mustang for your collection

And Wayne, I do have the JJD P-51, too! I don’t have it out on display as often (the attached pics were my last display with it from December 2021 using W. Britain pilots and a First Legion jeep). However, with the new ground crew figures coming, I’ll be pulling it back out 😎
