From the London Show thread it can be seen that I took the plunge and purchased something that I have admired for the last year. The biggest Red Box ever. :wink2: ^&grin

Simply – an awesome example of model making and will be the centrepiece of my soldier collection.

I will be having made a display case and base to house this beast.

Ya know, as Martyn has demonstrated elsewhere on the forum, that gunboat looks pretty darned good with a crew of LL Naval Brigade figures too ..... just a thought in case you find that those matte finish figures, as nice as they are, don't quite have enough of a shine !^&grin

Thank you Paulo, you are quite right, it's not just the boat but also the whole ensemble!

One of the reasons I was after this set ( if set is the right term? ) is for the figures that represent the Sussex Regt as I live in East Sussex, so I thought it would be very fitting to have a representation of my County Regiment.
