The Nile River Gunboat - My London Show Purchase! (1 Viewer)

Awesome purchase Jeff and best of all you'd managed to get permission!
it'll look fantastic when you get it setup in a display case.

This is something I really wanted but just can't swing it at this time.Best of luck with it Jeff.

Well done it is a lovely model and will be the centre of your collection as you say.
Will WB be doing an Arab Dhow to go with it?
Thanks for posting I enjoyed looking at it.

Jeff

I am relieved and pleased you managed to sail this one home safely. Concur its a real beauty and well worth the hundreds of pounds you worried about spending last Saturday :rolleyes2:

Bob

Thanks Bob, the Underground wasn't too bad and the box had it's own seat on the train. I think it is well worth it. :smile2:

Jeff

Looks great Jeff, I bet you'll have hours of fun setting it up in its eventual new display case :salute::

Craig

Thanks Craig, I'm having fun just looking at it. :smile2:

Thanks Mike, that is very similar to the display case I have ordered. :smile2:

Congratulations Jeff on a wonderful acquisition to your collection. No doubt it has made you feel very happy to own such a marvelous model . . .
:smile2: Mike

It's great to see how enthused you are with the set Jeff, this will certainly be the centre piece for the Nile series. I like the figures also. Cheers, Robin.

Mike and Robin, Thanks! :smile2: Even my wife is happy that I am happy! {eek3}^&grin

Nice tub Jeff!

It should look superb on a purpose built dio.

The only thing is that Andy UK_BOD and I were discussing this at the show, and I'm sure these always sailed in pairs. Far be it for me to suggest that you really ought to get another to compliment it, but.......{sm4}

Simon, I'm sure that it's Camels that you need more than one off...but thanks anyway. :wink2: :smile2:

Congratulations, Jeff, to this wonderful addition to you collection {bravo}}
Looking forward to seeing pictures when your display case arrives.

You need to set it up and put some Devishes along the bank firing at it.
