We are pleased to announce Battle Scene Productions first ever project involving John Jenkins products. Our scene will debut of Friday March the 23rd. This scene is approved for release by Mr. Jenkins himself, meeting up with his strict standards.

This was one of our greatest challenges, and we are pleased to have reveived Mr.Jenkins approval.

So keep an eye out on Friday.

We also have a second project we hope to have done in coordination with the London show.

This has been an exciting experience for us to branch into new subject matter, with the guidance of a very unique man. We thank Mr. Jenkins for his criticism and imput. This has been a great learning experience for us to be guided by a man who is talented in so many of the arts. Alex

Have big hopes for this being outstanding, should be interesting combining these two talents. Cheers, Robin.

Re: JJ/BSP Debut

Huuuuummmmmm??? I wonder which series will be the focus or subject.:rolleyes2:

The obvious choice seems to be the French and Indian Wars era with BoM as the center stage, but I wonder.

I am hoping for some War of 1812 myself.

It has to be a series that has enough sets to make the productions interesting so the Spanish Civil War is probably not an option.
Raid on St. Francis? Indians, captive women, Roger Rangers …. Maybe,, maybe?
Any guesses?

look forward to seeing what you have in store Alex

Re: JJ/BSP Debut

OK .....Here is what we will do..... The first correct answer will win the Lest they Be Forgotten music DVD by The Nash 5. This is one of the greatest songs written about our Veterans.

The question is..... What is the subject matter of the first JJ/BSP scene ?

Supplied by our friend Larry Cappetto who interviews veterans throughout the country and preserves their memory on DVD.

We will announce the winner on Sunday. Alex

Re: JJ/BSP Debut

Is it Knights of the Skies/WWI aviation?

Re: JJ/BSP Debut

Since your replys will be documented here, those who answered correctly will be documented. We will all know the winner on Sunday.

I just realized this we will have to take all of the correct responses and throw them in a hat for the winner, because the first person to respond will eliminate that category and with JJ having only so many lines there could only be a few responses. Alex

Re: JJ/BSP Debut

Fantastic news. I have to say that BSP dioramas have always been a massive inspiration for our dioramas and our wargames, I'm very much looking forward to seeing what you have done.

Very exciting!

Gentlemen

Get your ideas in.......We will be posting the scene tomorrow....The DVD we are giving away is a real treasure.

For those of you just viewing this go to posts #7 and #10 to read about the contest. Alex

Re: JJ/BSP Debut

I am going to close this portion of the contest at 11AM EST.......There will be another contest for our next release which will be on March the 28th. That one will begin when this one ends.

This was not planned, but everyone was guessing so I went with it. I hope you are having fun with this. John Jenkins has no connection to the contest. Alex

Re: JJ/BSP Debut

You don't think BSP would have strayed far from WWII.

Re: JJ/BSP Debut

Beautiful!

Love the way you have positioned Haldy so the shadow created by his hand is actually over his eyes. Superb.

Can't wait to see more.
