The town and country series (1 Viewer)

This set actually came in 3 different versions and under 2 different catalog numbers. I am looking forward seeing what Brad got{sm4}

I received the veterans band below. The box was marked as C 44 but I don't know if that was the correct number. I also received the Pensioner C 54 and the Blind Man and his Dog.

I already had the Blind Man and His Dog but the one I received yesterday (the one on the left) was painted differently than the one I already had. The dogs are also painted slightly differently.

Nice catch, Brad
This is an early version of C1 which came as 4 or 5 piece set. Later it was re-packed as C44 set .

Brad, the blind match seller figures you got are very nice but the same: just were painted differently. I would not count them as a variation.
Please see below an early version of this set which I found more attractive.

Thanks Martyn. It seems that this range is somewhat scarce; I've been looking for Rumpole for awhile. That being said, I scored the one man band this weekend so no complaints there. I also see that Muppet has some.

I just discovered Trophy ( I know, slow to the party). based on the comments here and the scarcity of these - i might be SOL as far as collecting them, so I'll just keep looking at yours.

Are all of the ranges as hard to find as the Civilians?

Also, T & C is not always easy to come by. You also need to be patient and take advantage of opportunities. It's taken me awhile to get a small collection.
