The Walking Dead, season 3 and Comicbook Men........ (4 Viewers)

Wasn't the worst episode but sure went a long way to end up at basically the same place. Should have just slapped her in irons to start with. Kinda of easily predictable. With only 2 episodes left, it doesn't look like they are going to solve the governor problem this season. -- Al

I certainly thought the Governator had become zombie fodder.

Nope, they'd never take him out like that off camera, he's going to go slowly and painfully hopefully.

I really cannot recall a character I've grown to hate as much as him, he's a POS on a number of levels.................

I thought Rick was going to blast Andrea by mistake and we would all have a Night of the Living Dead ending.

Same thought went through my mind as Andrea approached the prison. The writers took the cheap way out. -- Al

I am not sure that Andrea is destined for death any time soon. She is still alive in issue 100 of the books...but how that tranlates into TV years, that is the question..Michael

As this season winds down, I find it ironic that the real enemy is not the walkers/biters, it's man himself.

Rather than banding together, strength in numbers, both groups are bound and determined to go to war and wipe each other out.

Why do I have a feeling we are ending on a cliffhanger in two weeks with nothing resolved between the two groups?

Time will tell.........

I think Andrea will take out the Guv this year. How long can they hold off on a love interest for Rick? And a back story on the Ninja woman? This is TV afterall and there are rules.

I heard a rumour that the Guv leaves this season and also saw an interesting photo of Merle.

This series is sorely lacking in character development, the writers need to address this sooner than later.

Too bad HBO didn't produce this series as AMC is cheap when it comes to spending money on their series.

I'd like to see a new story line focus on another group somewhere hold up fending off walkers, the prison and the town are getting old.

Fast.

And why haven't walkers stormed into the prison through the huge hole in the wall that was shown several episodes ago?

Agree about the town and prison. Our heroes need to get back on the road, get movement going again, and start looking for other survivors that might be working on a cure like the CDC was early on. Meet new, interesting zombies, and kill them. -- Al

I'm with you George. I've just about lost interest entirely .

For a show supposedly not that good anymore you couldn't tell by the ratings as they go up and up.This is a great show. They were at Hershal's farm for a season and nobody complained. They will wrap up their war with Woodbury and move on by season's end. Will there be a cliffhanger?Sure there will be one almost every show ends that way.

It is a great show. It took 25 issues of the book to get here. They need this series to last several seasons and stretching out the story arcs will do this. Those who expect a Romero action film each hour will be disappointed. As to fleshing out characters, how is Kirkman supposed to do this ( right now at least 15 prime time actors ) and satisfy your Zombie blood lust in 45 tv minutes? I agree it is time to leave the security of the prison and even Woodbury. There is something to be said for the suspence of moving from building to building, new local to new local. As to budget constraints, that is why AMC dumped the creative director of this series after the first season..He pitched the idea along with the original writer, but it did not save his job when he refused to compromise on less money per episode..Michael

I'm not looking for a Romero action film every episode, the writing in the last episode was horrible, between the governor driving around chasing Andrea honking his horn, then showing up at the building Andrea was in, then he's overrun with walkers, only to show up at the split second Andrea was to reveal herself to Rick and grab her and stick her in the back of his truck.

Idiotic on a number of levels.

His character is totally played out, I really don't want to watch him torture Andrea Sunday night, just kill the POS and get it over with.

And yes, they need to leave the prison and Woodbury respectively and find new digs.

Couldn't disagree more George. The factory scene was great. As far as the Gov getting away that might seem far fetch but isn't the whole show a little far fetch?Remember one thing, the people that are still alive aren't in complete terror of the biters anymore, they know how to kill them and are very good at it. What is far fetched is that they never miss their mark, they must be the best shots in history.^&grin
