We have a close friend who had a liver transplant 20yrs ago and still going strong in her 60's and enjoying life to the full.......so good to hear you're doing well my friend and please say a big Kiwi Hi to your lovely lady.....

Yes, God love Australian healthcare. Drugs cost 1200 in the first year (there is a cap after 1000 or so which meant all subsequent medication cost 7.50 regardless of its face value). The next biggest cost was parking (1000) as my wife was at the hospital all day every day for five months. My superannuation covered 70 percent of my wage for 18 months, soon to be reviewed. It would have cost half a million minimum without our health system. That said, when they called for the priest, I got a bit concerned!

We're even having the news here reporting on it, perhaps not as much as US, and yes, while I hope for a safe return, I don't suppose one in a thousand could tell you who Savannah Guthrie is.
Anyone in the msm for accidents, illnesses or deaths is reported far wider than the demonstrations and crackdown that have been going on in Iran.

Recently ordered a jacket not realizing it has a double zipper on it. Whoever thought this one up was a real genius. I had forgotten all about the winter Olympics this year but we apparently have to endure that starting soon. The American team is full of pampered, unbearable types. I might pull for the men's hockey team but almost no one else (to the extent that I watch a single second).

Yes, I really truly 100% believe Trump posted that video himself… it was on his own social media platform… the same one he always posts on… at first, Bondi tried to downplay it… never once denying where it came from…then she blamed it on one of Trump‘s staffers… threw this anonymous staffer under the bus… there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that this is not conspiracy by what you refer to as the left stooping…there’s also about a dozen republican congressman, who believe it’s outrageous that Trump posted it and he should apologize… deleting it’s not enough

Concerning the Guthrie lady I hope they aren't showing too much publicly as the kidnapper(s) can see what they are doing. Hope for the best for the lady but unless they took her medications with them she may be in big trouble medically.

I love the Summer and Winter Olympics, I know these are no longer amateur athletes, but I still enjoy watching.
