I remember watching Top of the Pops and Phil Collins playing this on his piano, with a pot of paint on it. Turns out his wife at time had been having an affair with the painter and decorator and it was his subtle way if announcing that he knew.

In the irony that is life, Iron Maiden will not attend the Rock HOF induction ceremony as the date is in between 2 dates of their Australian Tour. Their statement said, they are not going to put off their fans who are holding tickets and reschedule those concerts. IMO, this is a rare move that I applaud and like as most entertainers have large egos and would certainly rework their tour dates at their fan's expense. After the lack of respect they received from the Rock Hall, I say good for them. They are in, but end of day, the induction ceremony benefits the Hall more than the bands anyhow.

I still think it is ridiculous some who are not in and the fact it took them til Ozzy's near dying day to put him in as a solo artist considering he was literally an icon and household name. Another really burn to me was when I attended Ozzy's induction and they didn't have him close the show, they had Dave Matthews of all idiots preluded by a 45 min love story from Julia Roberts about him. It was a deflating end to an otherwise great evening. The crowd was on cloud 9 for Ozzy, the proverbial plane crashed with Matthews. And the insult to injury was his song choice for his own induction - horrid.

I hope I am not going to upset anyone but rock music as an art form ended for me when Kurt Cobain shot himself.
That was the end of it as an art form.
From then on in I listened to alt country and opera.
Kurt was right to be cynical.
Here we are now entertain us.

Well, that's too bad, was looking forward to them performing. They are coming to Boston this year, I'll have to look into getting tickets then.

I am seeing them in San Antonio again on this new tour. Great place to see Maiden, lots of dedicated fans. My Texas family are into them, so we are going down there. I last saw them in San Antonio 2 years ago, it was closing night of their USA tour. They perform and have a stage set that is worth the price of admission. They definitely entertain you!

The Lakers are playing with house money. No expectations with the injuries. I'll watch and hope for the best but if they get blown out, life goes on. There is always the Dodgers.
