Things that I really like (3 Viewers)

And they thought there was a lot of bad blood when we played Canada:

President Donald Trump supported President Vladimir Putin's idea to organize hockey games between the U.S. and Russia during their phone call on Tuesday, according to a summary released by the Kremlin.

According to the Russian government, Trump and Putin discussed "hockey matches in the USA and Russia between Russian and American players playing in the NHL and KHL," which is Russia's professional hockey league.

Not everything is doom and gloom. I do like the fact that foreign aggression through proxy against the USA is being dealt with. I have always believed that you need to be decisive when dealing with terrorism. This is one area where I think we are doing a good job.

"Quisling - The Final Days" - an excellent movie about the arrest, trial and execution of Vidkun Quisling the Nazi collaborator who headed the Norweigan government during WWII. The movie is not for a mass audience but those with some historical background in the subject matter.

Tom:

I am not sure where we went astray on this but it is great to be back on track.

Tommy Chong of Cheech and Chong fame is coming to Gettysburg. What could possibly go wrong? LOL. I thought he was still in prison but he will be signing autographs at "Creature Feature." A fun horror themed weekend at the Wyndham in Gettysburg over the March 28th weekend.

LeBron tapping in a rebound with .1 seconds left on the clock to win the game last night. The Pacers uniforms were also some of the worst that I've ever seen. They reminded me very much of the fictional Flint Tropics of the Will Ferrell movie "Semi-Pro."

Wow. that does sound exciting.

Almost as exciting as the Bulls/Lakers game tonight; Lakers up 5 with 15 seconds left...........a 3, a horrendous turnover, another 3, Lakers down 1, basket with 3 seconds left to go up one...............Giddey heaves up a half court prayer............BANG!!

Game.

The first 80-degree day today. We now seem to go from 30s to 80s overnight. And then back again. Not much in the way of Spring. Brutal for the utility bills.

We've been stuck in a 40 to 50 degree holding pattern for over a month, nothing above, nothing below.

The NCAA college basketball elite 8 is basically chalk outside of Texas Tech, they're the 3 seed vs the 2.

I'm in a pool with 100 people/the cut off was 100; as of this morning, 90 people have 7 of the 8 remaining teams in the pool, this is going to be interesting to see how the money plays out, no really huge upsets that wreck people's brackets.

I've got Duke, Auburn, Houston and Florida in the final four, Duke vs Auburn in the final, Auburn winning it all.

USC women's team keeps moving on despite the loss of JuJu Watkins. I think this is the end of the line, however, as they get a red-hot UConn team next. A great run under the circumstances.
