Things that I really like (2 Viewers)

Went to Lancaster PA last weekend with my cousin to attend the Fall In wargaming convention; we were having breakfast at IHOP Saturday morning, across from our booth were two smokeshows (they had to be "dancers" in a gentlemens club) and some ballbag dude, they kept looking over until finally the dude says "Me and the ladies think you look like a character from that movie 'The Town' to which I replied "Thanks for noticing; so don't f#&k with me."............they and my cousin busted out laughing. Then later in the day at the flea market, I walked up to a table and scored about 200 painted 20mm First Sudan War figures, I made a connection with the seller as he had some unpainted ones at home, while chatting on the phone (yeah crazy huh; people still do that) he said "You don't look like your typical wargamer; when you walked up to my table, my first thought was 'who do I owe money to?'.....

Yup, I'll be 65 next month; I still got game...........;).

Thanks; like I told your Dad yesterday, humor is how I roll/keep what's left of my sanity, running a business has its joys (mostly) and trials (people cancelling preorders/paying me installments like this is a car loan), so humor is my go to crutch.

This gets my vote for post of the year!
 
Really enjoyed watching a Boxing match between George Kambosos Jr Vs Teofimo Lopez on Youtube tonight. Not being a fan I thought it was a recent fight and I didn't even know who was who, I picked the guy in White trunks to win as he was a better boxer. Which was lucky as he was the Aussie and won by split decision against the bigger opponent. A close match that went the full 12 rounds, not a bad fight for Lightweights, apparently it was a replay of a 2021 fight, I'm obviously not a boxing fan ;)

Not a huge fan of Ken Burns' politics but looking forward to the PBS documentary on the American Revolution. Hopefully it's not full of woke revisionist messages. I think it starts tonight.
 
Thanks for the heads up. Inside look at 7pm. Looks to be 6 part series. I've always enjoyed Burns work. I hope PBS is not taken off the air, I think the plusses outweigh the minus.

Carpet bombing the interweb/Facebook with this video, it murders me every time I watch it, so goofy, one of those classic 70's disco songs back from when I used to burn up the dance floor............;).
