Things that I really like (5 Viewers)

Thanks! Yup 4 legged buddies are an easy topic to talk about! Honestly, lot more humorous as well as feel good!

We took James Franco to our neighbor’s house to watch the Spurs’ game last night.

Other neighbors brought their dogs too.

He got to run around and play with all of them.

He seemed truly happy.

When we got back home for the first time since Uno’s passing he laid on Uno’s spot/blankets that are on the couch.

Up to Julie of course and can quite see why it is now inactive, but it is an expression of free speech and deleting it doesn't alter people's views, just another step towards the world of
Agreed
Too political
I prefer free speech and the opportunity to discuss a topic if I choose too.

Julie gave fair warning of possible consequences if the growing political tone to that thread didn’t desist. She was ignored by a certain few and the inevitable occurred and rightly so, the rules are clear.

Deleting the thread won’t resolve anything in terms of unity. We’re all different and certainly don’t agree on a raft of subjects. The trick is being able to agree to disagree and being respectful to others.

You’re still not making sense. Forced unity is the mark of dictatorships.
Brad, it's not what I want. It's the only safe way these days. Businesses and employees can't afford to be reckless by alienating people and opening themselves up to legal action, even if that action is frivolous and we are within our rights.
I don't want to censor anyone else but I just gave my last opinion.
From now on I'll just say yes or no and like pictures for safety's sake.

Facts:
My old condo Prez once said that her main opponent, a man who looks ands acts exactly like Frank Herbert's Baron Harkonnen, got drunk too much. Even though I was with him once when he did, he sued the Prez, a widow of a U.S. Naval Captain and a highly efficient, intelligent woman who always kept the books in order when others wanted otherwise; and, although he finally lost his case recently, it took such a toll on that tough old bird that she lives in a deeper depression than she deserves.
As Dad's son, I have seen lawsuits that were complete bunk but, since they were sometimes successful and always expensive for both parties, they have proliferated. I have seen the political prosecution of Labor and Black leaders before Immigrants were targeted for every traffic stop (they are now here). I have seen good, hard-working people go to prison because the prosecutors thought that Daley was corrupt and maybe they would say so (they didn't) but had and have no proof. Not to say all lawsuits are bad. But it is a fact that there are too many and also that life is too short to deal with other peoples' hard-ons.
Lawfare is real.
Best Wishes Guys, it's not y'all I'm angry with.

The only way to avoid retaliation and live a good life is to keep one's opinion to one's self, don't even talk to others, stay inside and lock the door. It will be that way until unity is found. And it never will be.
Best Wishes,
Bye for now,
Paddy.
No disrespect Paddy, but I think you're over thinking things here. Members are simply responding to your posts and providing feedback and asking questions.

This is a hobby forum meant to be fun, folks shooting the breeze and sharing opinions, their expertise and observations......its a great place to chat.

Things quickly go south, when politics start to dominate a conversation/thread.......plus it gets boring real fast and sadly turns people off.

Unity is a myth a bit like globalization, Disney-Land on steroids, along with unicorns and bubblegum rainbows......

Keep posting and enjoying the hobby mate, we're all here for a short time not a long time and TS is fun.

Cheers

Binge TV! I have been watching The Night Agent as I never got around to it previously and it is really good on Netflix. ALso, have been watching/revisiting Duck Dynasty - I started way back in Season 1. I watch 2 eps a night before going to bed. Holy Crap, literally makes me laugh out loud. I forgot how ludicrous and funny that show was. I know they came up with some scripted, but seriously, only in the minds of that family could some of that stuff occur, just pure comedic gold. That is a show that makes me happy happy happy!

Tom:

Great post.

Me and my wife love binge watching on a Friday night rather than “stinge watching” via appointment viewing.

And as far as the show goes, to each their own.

Best parts of duck dynasty are the hunting excursions or more importantly when they blow things up. Only in Louisiana!
