Hi Brad,
Thank you for sharing your frustration with us and thank you for expressing your feelings concerning the conduct we should exhibit on this forum. I fully agree with you and I support your efforts to encourage appropriate behavior in our communications with one another. Your job as a moderator is a thankless one, but a critical one. Too often, we do not recognize the deep commitment to forum peace and appropriateness you and the other moderators demonstrate. I am glad you are here and I am glad you donate your time to a very worthy cause. I think we all profit from your presence.
Warmest personal regards,
Pat
It was the Zebras Vs The Giraffes. The Zebras only won by a short neck though.
Zebras DroolGood to see we're taking this conflict to new heights.
Giraffes Rule!!
Absolutely Jeff. There is nothing new in this behavior and while unfortunate, we should not permit it to deter us from the more prevalent camaraderie and civil and playful exchanges that constitute the vast majority of the posts here. We all have to decide how to respond to those challenges since they do seem all too frequent. Whatever the subject matter of the forum, intractable and unremitting pontification and a lack of respect for the opinions of others is not likely to promote peace and harmony. Passion is fine, as are firmly held beliefs, so long as one can avoid confusing fact for opinion and can appreciate that the opposite belief may be just as firmly held by another. Walk a mile, as they say.....Bob, don't even think about it! It is only a very small number of members that try and corrupt others threads, the vast majority of us very much appreciate your posts especially the dioramas! So stop fretting and get on with the next episode of the Alamo will you!
Jeff

The African Zebra War has obviously sparked a chord here on the forum.
It's good that the more obscure conflicts are still remembered.
It was a hard time for African wildlife that year.
Panthers would be great, especially a Panthera Pardus. One of the manufacturers is bound to pick this up and run a new series of it. It's got everything most collectors want: - Tigers, Panthers, Elephants, etc. Too good an oportunity to miss.

I agree with Jeff; that would be a shame. Let us deal with whatever happens. Please do not stop.

Tell him to knock off the 'tea' and get back to work. He's not on holiday you know. Otherwise something unexpected might happen.......
When one continues to abuse the freedom of speech, they do not have the right to be heard ,even if this forum must purge the ranks of the few.[/B. Why we continue to put up with them is an example of the extraordinary patience shown by the moderators. But I say enough is enough..OUT THEM AND THEN OUST THEM..Michael
nobody ever expects the inquisition . . . Or the tea inspector . . .:d
by the way, in response to "something unexpected might happen", kevin says "no it won't"
