Terry,i know you and Bob and others take this in good humour,but there are others on here who find the dispatches talk an offence and annoying.I never intend this,i just like chatting about my favourite hobby is all.

In fact next month i'll let someone else start the ball rolling

Sorry Rob. I am surprised that people would take offense at dispatches talk a few days ahead of the dispatches. I have a lot of fun reading peoples pre-dispatch guesses. If people are offended, they can just not read the thread. There are threads on this Forum I have no interest in and don't enjoy. That includes some (but not all of the polls) I just don't read the ones I have no interest in.

A better idea is to have an analysis (instead of another ruddy poll) of how often you have been correct with your guesses each month

Do we have to wait until Tuesday for the August Dispatches? August 1st is a Saturday and they don't usually get released on a Saturday. And Monday is a holiday long weekend in Canada and likely other British countries. So we may have to wait.

Btw, I'm not a fan of Kelly's Heroes either The mix of comedy, action and hippie antiwar themes made it too convoluted imo, but I know plenty of people that liked it.

I'm about to take in some old War films.Am going to start with 'Malta story' and maybe move onto 'Run silent run deep'.So batton down the hatches,take cover and Dive dive dive!
