The fact that dispatches may be coming does not detract from the messages sent to Rob or the foul threats that person is sending. They are mutually exclusive.

The quip about Dispatches being up was no less relevant to the thread, than the jokes about the barmaids issuing death threats against Rob. They're attempts to lighten the atmosphere in this topic.

The thread has probably run its course, in any case.

To what or whom were you referring? Too much ambiguity going on this thread.

Those shoes will never fit these two big plates of mine. Blasted things make me look like the letter 'L'.

Actually I think the lid goes back on this can of worms ok, its quite possible that not every thread with arguments has to end in infractions, bans or lockdown. Thanks to the humour of Simon and Notascoldasbastogne and others this has not descended to that level. I got the answer I wanted, I made a point about the lies told in various forums and others had their say, don't see the need for any further arguments now.

For once a thread like this comes to its end without the usual.......

I thought all this matter and been sorted out and settled months ago between you and Person "X". I have seen most of these emails and I think, as a peacemaker in this little arguement, you gave as good as you got. Last time we chatted by email you were going to meet with Person "X" and shake hand and forgive and forget.
Very disappointing that you would now bring this matter up again on a public Forum.

You will not be the first person to of been disappointed in me and not the last. I didn't mention any names or point any finger at anyone. I can say that I will never have a beer with this guy again . Maybe it was a little naughty of me. I thought this thread was interesting and my experience with the PM'S were due to this public forum. I did not start this thread just added my personal experiences to do with the title THREATS IN PM'S. Chris.

Morning chaps! Having resd one ir two posts including Waynes I would like to point out once again that I myself have NOT received any threat . I posted a question as I wanted to know forum policy on such matters including rants / abusive messages. . Sometimes a thread takes a life of its own but its always best to read it to avoid misunderstsndings.

So basically you started a thread asking a question about a hypothetical situation and people drew their own conclusions (apparently incorrect ones). With all due respect this, pardon the irony, could have been handled by pm.

After six pages, I agree with Mitch, as well as offer an apology to Brad the Baron for scarcastic posts.

This seems to resemble in a way the Treefrog version of Manti T'eo ^&confuse
