Cool, that would make for a dramatic scene.

How good it is Andy has read this thread and likes some of our ideas!.I have a feeling this range is going to be one of the very best K&C produce.

Isn't there a famous picture in which on the Bell is written 'Don't stand and yell, ring this bell and run like Hell'!.

Rob

I like the Gloster Gladiator, is that a Hawker Hart in the distance and who made it?

I love airfield scenes, especially photographed in that bright light, reminiscent of warm balmy English summers day. Well done and thank you for posting.

All those photos from Kevin are from Louis' collection and all are K & C (the control tower I'm not sure about however).

The control tower is K&C custom made for me by Gordon when he first opened the K&C special diorama studio.

The Biplanes depicted are a Gloster Gladiator (silver with yellow and blue on the wings), and a DeHaviland Demon (silver with maroon and blue markings). One is classic K&C, the other is a one of a kind when K&C first returned to wood warbird production.

Thanks, these sort of photos are in Vol1 of the K&C book and will shortly be in Vol2 warbirds.

Many more shots here, from Louis' superb collection.

My opionion is that I don't want to see any damaged or injuried guy's or aircraft in this great series. I simply would not buy them. You can use a FOV Aircraft (and damage it) for this if you want. Lets get a superb series of "Great Aircraft" before thinking of any of that. Regards, Larry.

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction on the photos and the book, its the sort of thing I can gaze at for hours. When I get time I shall invest.

Not wishing to sound padantic I think its a Hawker Demon, the fighter version of the Hart (I think).

I take the point about damaged aircraft and injured crew, I think its a bit like having wounded/shot/casualty type figures - they all go in to the mix especially for dioramas. But I must admit I hardly own any casualty figures as I don't really feel comfortable about them unless they are telling a story - hence my suggestion of injured crew being extracated from a damged machine after a hazardous sortie.
